Skidds (119), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada May 5, 2008 All the traits of any normal pale lager. Great choice on draft at the bar. They go down smooth as water.
joshiez (32), USA Jul 7, 2008 Really under-impressed with this beer. The entire beer reminds me of soap. The head looks like a soapy mess, it smells a bit like soap and it leaves a soapy taste in the mouth. I’m not kidding! This just really doesn’t do anything for me. And I think what bothers me, is that this is supposed to be a more ’high brow’ kind of lager....it just misses on all levels. donteatpoop (112), Youngstown, Ohio, USA Jul 3, 2008 Pours a golden color with a finger of white head.
A light hoppy scent is present, but little else.
Tastes of hops and malts, nothing exceptional but certainly not bad.
The carbonation level seemed a little low to me, leaving the beer tasting a bit flat.
I could certainly down a few of these in a session, but I’d much rather have something else.
Serving type: bottle 184601 (93), Mexicali, Mexico Jul 3, 2008 Tasted on Draft on Saint Patricks Day at San Diego Dublin Square pub,not bad but i that day i had a taste of a lot of good beers and this one is the only that i dont miss at all.Yes it is a lager, the appareance its a little bit cloudier than the average lager. The aroma its quite grassy hop.The flavour its a bit salty and sour, not too much carbonation and the palate made me order another guinness. rampmaster (117), Alden, New York, USA Jul 2, 2008 Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The body has great clarity and a bright yellow straw color. Its head is thick with big pillowy stiff peaks. It has great retention and leaves behind lots of cool lacing. The aroma has pleasant aromatic hops and light malt. Its flavor has a good balance of sweet, light malts with mellow leafy and floral hops. Bitterness is mild and fades to a clean finish. Its texture is smooth and wet with average carbonation and a light to medium body that is very drinkable. For me this was a very enjoyable beer with a beautiful look and pleasing aroma. The flavor is clean, refreshing and highly drinkable. Cheers!
