3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Excellent lager. Coloring, flavor, aftertaste are all very good. A little expensive, but a good beer for a night at the pub.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours clear light gold with a thin head that falls fast but tired to leave some lace. Sparkling with bubbles rising upwards. Nose is light grain sweetness and fresh cut hay. A bit of floral but not too much and maybe a small whisper of the lemon peel. Sweet grains make up most of the palate and the hops offer a gentle bit of sweet grass. Some tart and weak lemon in the background. Drinks crisp and clean with a bit of bite on the tongue from carbonation and nice drying to the finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: pours a sudsy 2" white head that slowly recedes with abundant lacing. Clear light golden color with mild streaming carbonation.
Aroma: some musky barley, a hint of lemon, toffee and some earthy hops.
Mouthfeel: mouthfeel is light and slick with a pleasantly drying finish.
Flavor: nice combination of lightly toasted barley, doughy dinner roll, a bit of lemon and some mild earthy hop spice.
Overall: pleasant and well balanced pale lager.

Crisp and sharp at first, malt only arrives after beer warms, opens up and goes flatter.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pint (draught) from the Gall Bog Bar near Banbridge, County Down.
Probably one of the lightest mainstream lagers available in Ireland, fairly small frothy head. Tastes as light as it looks, a bit of bitterness but not very much of anything else, slightly malty. Available on tap, in bottles and in cans in Northern Ireland - and occasionally as Harp Ice Cold, which I’d probably recommend if you insist on drinking Harp.
Drinkable but excessively bland, on the lower side of average.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Ok, not the best beer in the world to be sure, and I don’t like Lagers to begin with unless there is something interesting about it. Nothing interesting here, bland watered down lager that has a "fat" mouthfeel to it. Gave me a headache.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can from Dunnes, Longford
Light golden. clear, frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma of light sweet grain malts, slight grassy hop, dull nose
Taste of light grain sweet malts, some slight bitter hop in there, bit bitter papery, very dull as usual for this sort of beer but not undrinkable
Palate - Medium carb, light body, bit oily. Finish as main flavour, soft sweet light malts, slightly bitter
Overall - Typical taste for a macro lager but it’s not the worst I’ve had.
