Nov 26, 2004 Nearly opaque dark brown color, with a thin brown head (as served). Chocolatey roasted malt aroma, with coffee and a light alcohol like undertones. Supremely rich flavor, malty and warming, without the harsh bitterness you might expect from a dark beer. This beer has plenty of body and a velvety carbonation, leaving a nice roasty, chocolate aftertaste. This is a very drinkable "Imperial" beer.
