(22oz bottle) Session #13. Purchased from RSVP in Portland, ME. Pours a frothy, white head with sticking power. Body is mildly carbonated with minute bubbles and a deep orange liquor. Nose of un-matured hops, licorice, marijuana, and compost. Flavour is very leafy as well with a sour young hop flavour and a tart West Coast finish. Dry pasty bitter finish.

this is the best beer harpoon makes. Nice hazy dark brown/red with an off white head that never leaves. Flavor seem to start malty then hops take over leaving you with a dry slow lingering aftertaaste. The smoothness and lack of carbonation lends to easy drinking.

Draft @ Barcade. Amber/gold color with a nice head and tons of lacing. Aroma of spent grains and chocolate. Taste is fruitty and hoppy. Finish is dry. Finally a good 100 Barrel Series from Harpoon.

22oz bottle thanks to argo0: Pours to a mostly clear amber body with some small particles visable suspended an floating around (very fine, not protein). There’s a large eggshell head that lasts with just a little bit of lacing around the outside of the glass. The aroma is quite hoppy, moreso than I was expecting. There’s notes of herbs, grassy/earthy hops, and some bitter plant. The taste is pretty bitter, showing some earthy/grapefruit/citrus rind, a bit of bread, and some salt. Medium bodied, medium carbonated, definitely very, very hoppy for the style.

(500ml bottle) Pillowy off-white head atop amber body, clear with miniscule particulate. Aroma is medium sweet, medium sweet, caramel, herbal/grassy, some grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, grassy/herbal, some grapefruit, caramel, cookie, light salty. Light-medium body with light syrup. More bitter than the style suggests. An Imperial Keller?

Pours amber-orange color with large, frothy head. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, citrus, and earthly hoppiness. Smooth beginning with an almost syrupy mouth-feel finishes with strong bitter hop flavor. Pretty complex flavor makes this worth a try.

Sampled at the brewery, cloudy amber-orangeish color, with a white head, fruity nose, grainy, caramel malt, juicy lemon note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet grainy raw character, floral hop accent, with some grassy, piney notes of bitterness, finishes with a nice floral hop bittering.
