COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed with our proprietary yeast Ė the same yeast weíve used since first brewing Harpoon Ale Ė and some interesting hop varieties. The combination of Pale, Rye, Caramel 60, Flaked Rye, and Vienna yield a complex malt body that stands up to the spiciness of the rye and the pronounced hop flavor. The rye also adds a reddish hue to the beer. The kettle additions of Centennial, Apollo, and Chinook, and the dry hop addition of Falconerís Flight add a multidimensional hop character.

Orange with small white head. Aroma citrus and pine with some background malt. Medium bodied, no alcohol noticable. Crisp and flavorful hops, more or less grassy with mild malty balance. Good IPA, not that memorable.

The aroma is metallic and citrusy with malt, corn, and rye. The appearance is deep gold with an amber hue. The head is medium sized. The taste is like the aroma with a papery finish. The palate is smooth. Overall this is not that great but is interesting.

Slightly hazy copper pour with pillowtop offwhite head. Smells faintly clean and metallic. Flavor is better, with a good decent old hop character. Lightly spicy, more bitter than anything, surprisingly, donít pick up all that much rye. A little thin and watery on the palate. Didnít really think much of this one.

Bottle
Pours a lively, deep cheddar orange with a nose of hay, grapefruit, dewy spring grass, and a hint of sweet roll. Flavor is a tangy, melon-like grapefruit with a straw bread finish. Tingly and coating on the tongue. Tasty.

From a bottle poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Hoppy spicy flavor with a lingering aftertaste.

Looks like generic beer, tastes much better. Strong example of well balances IPA....good bitter profile from nose through the end of the palace, rye seems to be a good backbone as I love most Rye-país. Light and refreshing.

Light pour, almost the color of the label. Grainy aroma and hop profile. Almost like a funky grassy noble hop like flavor with some sweet grain rye flavors. A bit overly sweet and bordering on cloying. There wasnít a lot of hop bitterness, but it wasnít absent either. Decent.
