3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at RedBones. Dark amber color with a nice white head. Aroma is citrus, mostly orange, with some flowers. Taste is citrusy hops with a good malt balance and a nice bitter finish. Over all very good, better than I expected as Iím not much of a rye fan.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (co-rated by scraff)Ö Clear golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Fruity, floral, perfumy bouquet. Not expected. Smells a bit like hotel-provided deodorant soap. Not unpleasant, just different. Medium to full-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and laid-back carbonation. The flavor leans well onto the bitter side of balance - even when warmed. Honey malt, rye malt and floral, perfumy hops stand out. Finishes crisp, spicy and moderately bitter, then dries out quickly.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
a nice blended style. Poured a deep bright gold color with a finger and a half head. Lots of carbonation floating up to the top. The aroma is a nice balance of grass, sweet dough, touch of melon and citrus. The taste is quite nice with that rye coming right through in the front and the bitter directly after. The carbonation gives a nice extra bit to this, making it refreshing. Probably buy another.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
A rich and slick mouthfeel accompanies the full hops profile-- is this the contribution of the rye, changing the overall texture of the beer? A very floral IPA, with the expected grassy notes of the rye coming through. I liked it.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours an amber with a dense head. The aroma is malty sweet with a hint of bread and caramel. The flavor is malty sweet at first and then balanced with a good amount of hops in the end. The beer is very smooth and very easy going down. Makes for a nice summer quencher. Very smooth.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Rustico in Alexandria. Served in a tulip.
Pours a moderate golden color that is mostly clear. Good white head and a nice bit of lacing on the way down. The nose carries a good portion of rye along with some floral and spicy hops. The flavor carries the same with the rye really taking a step forward and bringing a bit of spice. Mostly floral hops with a bit of an earthy feel as well. All is very well integrated into a medium-bodied brew with a nicely-bitter finish. Some alcohol detected afterward. This was a thoroughly enjoyable brew.
