This beer is brewed with our proprietary yeast Ė the same yeast weíve used since first brewing Harpoon Ale Ė and some interesting hop varieties. The combination of Pale, Rye, Caramel 60, Flaked Rye, and Vienna yield a complex malt body that stands up to the spiciness of the rye and the pronounced hop flavor. The rye also adds a reddish hue to the beer. The kettle additions of Centennial, Apollo, and Chinook, and the dry hop addition of Falconerís Flight add a multidimensional hop character.

Pretty tasty! Not sure if it is the rye, but this beer gives off more of a pine tree hop presence rather than citrus... wish it were the other way around. But never the less, a good beer. Glad it is in their regular lineup.

Poured from a 12OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a slight yeast and pine aroma Appearance- This brew is a great amber to orange color with a nice white head. Taste- Has an excellent flavor of citrus, pine and hops that goes down well. Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate to high carbonation has a dry finish. Overall- I really like this beer, I donít see it being sold often down in Georgia, but the next time I see I will pick up a few bottles.
