I had low expectations of this one. White ipa did not sound like it would work and it was a single on a shelf that I had no idea how long it’d been there. Man I was pleasantly surprised. The white added some clove and spice to a grassy hop profile. Wheat and banana flavors working throughout. Comes together well.

In short: A bitter, fruity blond wheat-based IPA with the generous hopping overwhelming the wheat character. Good IPA.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed approximately 3 months after the beer initial release.
The look: Cloudy orangy-blond body topped by a quickly diminishing medium white head.
In long: Nose is bursting with fresh tropical fruits, Taste is bready cereals, chewy doughy wheat, notes of banana bread, intense tropical fruits hopping with also bitter grapefruits. Bitterness of medium-high intensity that blends both sharp bitter grapefruits and sticky fruity hops resin. This beer is so hoppy that the base witbier doesn’t contribute a whole lot to the overall flavor profile. Citra hops overwhelms the beer, tastes more like the Citra IPAs I’ve had than the White IPAs I’ve had. Full foamy body with a rather soft carbonation, I would have preferred a more active carbonation. I liked that beer a lot but unlike most other so-called White IPAs I thought this one was a little too resinous and bitter and therefore not as refreshing as I like this type of beer to be. One of the many beers I bought in Vermont that day, I bought many cases of beer and I can feel I was being judged by the cashier, I hate judgemental people, I can tell if someone is judgmental just by looking at what type of shoes they wear.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a very murky pale gold with lots of small floaties evenly distributed throughout with a moderate white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of lemon and wheat with notes of pine. I;’m not really picking up any of the coriander. The flavor is similar to the aroma. Moderate bitterness at the finish somewhat reminiscent of the pith of an orange. Medium bodied. Underwhelming.

Disgusting. I love white beer. I love IPA. They don't mix. After half a glass I poured the rest out and opened something else. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice spice aroma with notes of pepper, coriander and orange. Pours a hazy straw, with a thin white head. The flavor is more on the spice side with a punch of hops coming through. Very light on the palate, and a nice thirst quencher on a hot day. This is a nice solid sipper for warm humid days.

From a 22 oz. bottle. Pours hazy orange with a white head that quickly disappears. Aromas are primarily citrus and pine. The carbonation is a little on the high side. The finish is not as bitter and hoppy as you find in many IPA’s. Very good.

a part of the harpoon ipa mix pack. Glowing white ale color but with touch or orange. Aroma reminds me a lot of rich and dan’s rye , probably similar hop bill. Add in some wheat and zestiness along with a yeast full body at the end. This is a good beer to transition into the spring.

On tap. Pours a light yellow gold with a white head and lacing. It has a great floral hop aroma with a flavor that is floral and grass hops up front with a slightly spicy middle and hoppy and slightly yeasty aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light floral hop aroma. Cloudy light orange color with a small white head. Bitter beginning that fades slowly in the finish.
