draft at Coles, citrusy forward Belgian ale, lots of orange, fruity Belgian yeastiness. Decent dose of bitterness. One of my favorite from Harpoon

Light hop aroma with a hint of grain. Hazy golden color with a large white head. Mild bitter beginning finish has more of a tang and mint flavor. Light palate.

22 oz bottle. Pours blonde with a 2 finger white head that quickly goes away. Aroma is Belgian yeast with some light floral scents and a heady dose of citrus. Taste has some sweetness, but is predominately sharp citrus. Light palate with good carbonation. Easy to drink as the commercial description implies.

Location/Date:Bottle on August 2nd, 2013.

Appearance: Pours a nice golden opaque cloud with light white head.
Aroma: Aroma of doughy yeast, faint pine,
Taste: Light bitterness, faint sweetness of orange, light dough.
Palate:Medium body, smooth, a hint of a finish that’s not too aggresive.

Summary: First off, the palate on this is really nice. I like the idea of a belgian beer with american hops, and i enjoy golden ales so this was very good. Not as bitter as I would have expected, but a nice beer nonetheless.

Bomber from Bestway. Pours a hazy yellow color with a medium sized frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of tropical, citrus hops with pale malts and some earth. The taste is spicy, herbal, peppery, tropical hops, pale malts. Medium bodied. Decent.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 8/15/2013. Pours moderately hazy and cloudy pale golden amber color with a 2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big lemon zest, orange zest, pineapple, peach, pear, clove, pepper, banana, bubblegum, wheat, floral, grass, and floral/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange zest, pineapple, pear, clove, banana, pepper, bubblegum, floral, grass, wheat, and floral/yeast earthiness. Light earthy floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus zest, pineapple, pear, clove, banana, pepper, bubblegum, floral, grass, wheat, and earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and complexity of citrus hops with fruity/spicy yeast esters; with a fair amount of flavor robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good hoppy Belgian style. Good balance and complexity of hop and yeast ester notes; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

A decent beer. Aroma was nice. Dank hops with a note of gym socks. Pour was a nice cloudy gold with a one finger white head. Taste was alright. A little muddled. Lemon, cut grass, green hops and a hint of yeast. At times it was slightly tart and at times it was bitter. Nice carbonation.

Poured a light hazy beige color ale with a large fluffy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of biscuit malt with light fruity ester and some floral malt. Taste is also a nice mix of biscuit malt with light fruity ester and some floral dry hops with light residuals sugar notes. Body is a touch fuller then average with good carbonation. Refreshing and somewhat complex beer.

Torpedo. Poured a gold color with medium size head. Smells great- fresh citrus hops, Belgium yeast, coriander. Medium light bitterness. Light sweetness. Dry finish. Average carbonation. Crisp, tasty, refreshing. Lemon, spice, citrus, coriander. Nicely done.
