A delightfully drinkable Belgian-style ale with a big kick of American hops.

Iíll be scoring this higher than most. Maybe ícause itís 100į out and I didnít expect to find this quality beer on tap at a Marriott. If you canít decide between a Belgian or an IPA this is the beer for you. Nice dark golden color, crisp taste, fruity, a little hops with a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle: Poured a light hazy beige color ale with a large fluffy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of biscuit malt with light fruity ester and some floral malt. Taste is also a nice mix of biscuit malt with light fruity ester and some floral dry hops with light residuals sugar notes. Body is a touch fuller then average with good carbonation. Refreshing and somewhat complex beer.

Pours a clear golden with a fairly thick and fluffy eggshell head. Malty aroma has firm notes of apple, yeast and banana. Sharp flavor echoes the malt and fruit of the aroma, while downplaying the yeast and adding a subtle note of hops. Smooth texture is quite firm, though fizz leaves a little to be desired. Harpoon this one before itís gone!

Draft. Pours clear gold with lots of lacing on the side of the glass. Tastes like citrus and pine hops. Light malt and bitterness. Low/medium body and carbonation. Smells like musk, malt, and wheat.

From the 22. fl. oz bottle. The pour is a slightly cloudy yellow with a fizzy white head that sticks around. The aroma does have those Belgian malts, yeast, and sugar characteristics but I think it becomes totally overwhelmed by the grapefruit ester. Light to medium body. The taste tends to have a tart, grapefruit-like zing to it and the Belgian characteristics are in the batterís box but donít quite get to the plate. Refreshing in its own way.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a whte head and plenty of lacing. Hoppy citrus aroma. Very pleasant lemony flavor with some underyling belgian yeast characteristics that are mostly hidden by the hops. Pretty good but wish there was more of a pepper or clove spiciness to this one.

Bottle at home. Pours lightly hazy orange with a large, frothy off-white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is earthy, citrus, minty, and dank hops with barnyard and farmhouse yeast notes, and biscuit malt. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness with supporting malt, earthy Belgian yeast, light fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

Strong lemony and citrusy aroma with some light malts and yeast. Color is a medium golen orange witha bright white frothy head. Lots of bitterness in the flavor but backed with a light fruityness from the belgian yeast. A nice pairing. Herbal flavors along with some yeast, straw and pears. Light body that lingers bitter at the end. A decent hoppy belgian.

Bottle shared by festero, thanks for the opportunity Dave! Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a smallish bone white head that dissipates rather quickly. The aroma is quite hoppy with a spicy citrus earthy herbal quality to it. Belgian yeasty esters take over and for me hide the sweet honey like maltiness in this brew. The flavor is a bit sweet up front with a solid shot of earthy spice. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a sweet spicy mouthfeel. Decent brew, but not really my cup of tea. The hop forward character here is quite nice but for me the spicy yeasty phenols ruin it. Nice to try, but one and done for me.
