2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle... Pours clear and amber with a small, white head that’s gone faster than you can say “quick.” The aroma is an unfortunate blend of cat pee, funky armpit and pine sap. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and lively carbonation. The flavor displays nice balance. Tasty and bitter. Thin but nice. The pungent nose ruins the experience for me. Bottle courtesy of otakuden!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2014-12-09. Dark orange body nice beige head. 3+ Aroma has an interesting savoury quality I can’t quite place over mild fruit and grain character. Flavour is cereally caramel malt, pleasantly fruity hops, nice citrus notes but the grainy malts dominate over the otherwise lovely hops. Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. Meh, okay but but far too malty for my tastes. Bottle shared by JoeMcPhee.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Fresh hop aromas, citrus, pine, tropical fruit. Slightly hazy orange-gold, somewhat lasting white head. Dry, decent bitterness, crackery malts. Light bodied.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Good sized light orange head of fine and dense bubbles. Reduces slowly to a rocky top dense head of foam. Light citrus, fresh tobacco, some oranges and mint. Color is a medium dirty orange. Light and bitter flavor with more mint, oranges, cereal grains and biscuity malts. Finishes with a light lingering bitterness and some fresh herbal flavors. An ok pale ale.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 9/20
Juicy notes of citrus and sweet fruit meet the nose, while a cloudy amber pour produces a thin non-lasting off-white head and minimal lacing. The taste is dominately grapefruit along with hints of fruit sweetness and malts. A nice bitter fnish which extends into a long aftertaste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, this brew lives up to its name providing a crisp and very refreshing taste experience.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Conyers, Ga. - Sigman Bottle Shop - 22 oz bomber. Hazy dark orange pour, sticky off-white head that leaves plenty of sticky lacing. Faint spruce aroma, hint of mint. Flavor is refreshing with nice citrus bitterness, a touch of vanilla, some minty notes. Crisp refreshing mouthfeel.

3.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bomber. Great smelling pale ale, hazy gold appearance. The Citras add a warm citrus, while grapefruit rind adds bitterness at the end. The body is fine for a pale ale. Still, it seems like something is missing. Needs a little more bite to it. It doesn’t feel like 45 IBU, and the grapefruit doesn’t kick in until late. A likable pale ale, but not great.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Type: 22-oz. bottle
Glass: Karl Strauss pint glass
From: Total Wine & More in Ballantyne (Charlotte), N.C.
Purchased: Sept. 9, 2014
Consumed: Sept. 15, 2014
Misc.: Enjoy by 11:16 (I think) on Aug. 15, 2014; Session 50
Poured a golden, straw, semi-clear color with two fingers of khaki-white frothy head. Some bubbles coming up from the middle. Minimal spots of foamy lacing along the sides of the glass. Average retention on the top all the way down. (Sight - 3.96)
Smelled a healthy dose of hops up front. Got Citra hops, sharp grapefruit juice, coriander, orange rind, nectarine, caramel, faint wet Cascade hops, Centennial hops, faint pineapple and other tropical notes, peach and some more hop spices. (Smell - 4.07)
Initially was surprised at how light this beer was. Grapefruit pulp, coriander, Citra hops, orange zest, nectarine, caramel, lemon and (I think) Centennial hops. Very smooth and tasty. (Taste - 4.21)
Light body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter but refreshing finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This was a fantastic pale ale. A 6-pack of this would be nice after those long nights of tasting beer. Good stuff. (Overall - 4.19)

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle shared at Max’s. Pours a light orange amber body with white lacing. Aroma is stale hop - unfortunately this seems to be past its ’enjoy by’ date. Mouthfeel is light and carbonated with notes of oranges, grapefruit, spice, clean malt, light herbal character and soap. The hop profile is super muted at this point, but would definitely like to try again if fresh.
