COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Currently Thom’s Olde Ale is Harpoon Ale, our first beer.

The first in the Harpoon family of beers, our ale is a light amber in color, medium bodied, and well balanced. The slightly fruity aroma is from Harpoon’s special yeast.

very drinkalbe but VERY boring - a whole lot of nothing - no real start or finish. Just plain blah. so far harpoon is letting me down

Tasty session beer, balanced. Better than Bass or similar. Hard to find on tap though.

from the bottle. poured a amber with off white head. aroma hints of malts, caramel, and some hops, floral and orange. flavor not much going on in that department. just got hints of the malts, caramel, and hops, could not find the orange or any other fruits.

Dark gold to amber in color. Modest like beige head. Mild fruit, light toast and touch of floral hops. Sweet malt start with a mild grass and grain component. Really doesn’t change much throughout. More an APA than an Amber, but there nothing wrong with that.

Pours amber (what a shock!) with an off white head. Smells of roses and straw. Tastes malty with some chewable vitamin elements. Watery finish.

pours a light amber white a small white head, aroma of a fruity malt, taste is also malty and a little hoppy with a metalic aftertaste. its a decent beer, but nothing more than that.

(12 oz bottle) Pours medium amber, creamy white head, good lacing. Aroma is beer (malt and hops!). A little fizzy, but good body. Tastes just OK, slightly bitterish, slight vegetable aftertaste. Nothing challenging, but a good basic ale.
