12 oz bottle. Pours a reddish brown with an almost non-existent off-white head. Aroma of malt, if anything. Malty flavor, but once again, not much there. Better than some other Harpoon offerings but not that great.

On tap at the Golden Rail. Pours a clear medium dark amber. Nice sweet toasted malt on the nose. Clean medium body with a nice light bitter finish. Nothing mind blowing, but no glaring flaws. Overall nice easy drinking session beer, but in general I’d grab something else over another pint of this, as it’s nearly forgettable.

Bottle. Pours a dark golden color with a small white head.very effervescent. Nose is very hoppy, fresh, a bit piney. Flavor is mainly hops with a small hint of light malt in the finsh. Fairly simple. Hops flavor and scents diminish as beer is allowed to air out a little and a bit more stale malt notes are present.
