A friend bought a Harpoon variety pack and this was the first one I tried. I believe this was my first amber ale as well. Poured a clear amber body with a small head. The aroma was sweet, the taste was sweet with some hops.

Oct 13, 2008 The aroma is light and somewhat corny with hops, yeast, nuts, and alcohol. The appearance is golden with a slight copper hue. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is watery but decently carbonated. The overall quality of this beer is disappointing yet still drinkable.

Sep 13, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a two finger whitish head. Caramel aroma and flavor with a hint of sweetness. Light bodied with good carbonation.

Sep 12, 2008 Have had this several times and never really cared for it. Run of the mill slightly sweet with a mild bitterness amber. Easy drinker with few rewards.

Aug 28, 2008 Copper pour with fluffy off white head. Caramel malts on the nose. Similar flavor with notable hints of hops and honey.

Aug 21, 2008 Bottle. Poured amber with a fizzy off-white head that settles out to a ring. Nice caramel and honey aroma with a light hop and fruit background. The flavor has malt caramel with a slight fruit and grass touch. Light body and oily texture. Sweet throughout.
