scottw86 (131), New York, USA Jan 23, 2008 Poured a clear amber with a white head. Aroma was of malts and a bit of hops. As for the taste, it had the right balance of malts and hops, but the malts are present in the beginning, and the hop flavor comes out at the end, which creates a weird sensation. The flavor is not as watered down as I expected.
thornecb (1291), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Dec 31, 2008 Pours amber into a shaker. Head quickly recedes to nothing. Heavy malt aromas. Fruity and crisp caramel from front to back. Quick, dry finish. ROGUE (388), Newark, Delaware, USA Dec 30, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured medium copper with a sizable head that diminished, good lacing along the glass. Nice malty aroma, some burnt caramel malt and a little sweetness.Medium fullness, very easy and drinkable. Flavor is dominated by a good malt content of caramel with some light roasted flavors and a good nuttinness. Little hop flavors and bitterness. Drinkable and easy on the palate, nice ale.
HonkeyBra (614), Lemont, Illinois, USA Dec 28, 2008 Smber color with barely a head. Thin, lightly caramelly aroma with some hops. Flavor is the same. Maybe a hint of hops. Very fizzy. Rciesla (1580), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Oct 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber body with a light off white head. Thin and simple malty beer with some corn sweetness. Mildly bitter with a note or two of grass. Palidor19 (1424), Brandon, Florida, USA Oct 22, 2008 nothing special, its too light on the malts and hops and the the carbonation is too fizzy to enjoy fully.
