Bottle best by 09/19/12, so fingers crossed. Thin, slightly tangy nose is lemony and quasi-yeasty, pours clear yellow golden with a bright white rocky head that reminds of frosting or root beer floats -- but with legs. Taste lightly sweet and faintly bitter, crisp and quenching with light lemon and grass, but things are squeezed here and not ultra-clean. Even a metallic tone. Lightish body. Held up fine.

Poured from bottle. Aroma faint sweet malt and hops. Light gold, head that persists. Flavors of malt, sugar, dry hops and pear Slightly metallic aftertaste. Dry feel. Pretty drinkable. OK.

Light hay and grass aromas blended into floral hops. Straw with a fluffy white head. Balanced with notes of grass and hay and maybe a touch citrus. Crisp and light with a dry finish.

From a bottle poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

12oz bottle: Pours a clear pale golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty nose with some floral hoppy notes. Starts with decent fullness and a clean light malty sweetness with good hop balance before a drier bittersweet finish. Has good drinkability and is pretty true to style.

little or no aroma nor head; pale yellow w/ slight haze; flava is of tobacco or tea; only slight fizz and bite; finishes dry and slightly tart.

12 oz. bottle. Used a lager glass. Clear gold color. High carbonation producing a ring of white head on the surface. Aroma of grain, Saaz hops and a bread / cracker note. Unfortunately the flavor is lacking. While the taste does provide what the nose is suggesting, the palate really is thin and watery. Too bad, the smell is better than the weak flavors. I’m sure the Leviathan Big Bohemian Pilsner is much better, if they still brew it. My option is to skip this one.

Draft at Harpoon Tasting Room. Pale yellow, spicy herb nose, mild hop body. Not really a nice Pils, but ok.

Cloudy yellow thin white head. Smells of fresh baked bread. Hops more apparent on first sip. Earthy qualities that blend together well nice pilsner but not overly complex ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
