3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a hazy straw yellow colored body with a one finger white bubbly head. The head lasts about a good thirty seconds, rapidly rising bubbles are seen rising.
The smell had the Czech Saaz (bitter and pounding) hops up front (reminding me a bit like Sam Adam’s Noble Pils). Nothing else really comes out.
The taste was a bit bready and eventually the malts and hops kick start a full flavored peppery bready taste wonderfully combined.
The palate sat about a light to medium, slightly bitter with a decent amount of carbonation coming out on the tongue.
Overall, this is a solid summer beer well worthy of having again if I lived in its distro.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale straw yellow, thin white head that disappears. A lot of tomato, cooked vegetables, some caramel and grass on the nose. Light sweetness, light hoppiness to taste. A good deal of veg on the finish, sparkling carb, medium body. Not my kind of pilsner.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Good starting head, but it dies too quickly and leaves little lace on the glass. The color is pale gold with no cloudiness at all.
Malted grain aroma with a mild floral hop nose. Attractive with no raw grain smells.
Peppery initial taste. This changes to a mellowed pale malt flavor. But the swallow reverts to the pepper from the hop. Relatively complex with a full mouthfeel and ample carbonation. Classic pils flavors that I think could compete against more famous versions.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle best by 09/19/12, so fingers crossed. Thin, slightly tangy nose is lemony and quasi-yeasty, pours clear yellow golden with a bright white rocky head that reminds of frosting or root beer floats -- but with legs. Taste lightly sweet and faintly bitter, crisp and quenching with light lemon and grass, but things are squeezed here and not ultra-clean. Even a metallic tone. Lightish body. Held up fine.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle: Pours a clear pale golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty nose with some floral hoppy notes. Starts with decent fullness and a clean light malty sweetness with good hop balance before a drier bittersweet finish. Has good drinkability and is pretty true to style.
