Tap at Pony Bar. Light brown pour with a thin white head. The nose has a lot of toasted character. Light brown malt, herbal cocoa and a bit of rye bread like spiciness. Fairly herbal tasting with a nice clean nuttiness. The hops show a kiss of earthy woodiness as well. It’s a fairly simple brown ale, but it’s decent enough. A bit of spice as it warms.

Pours a transparent dark copper amber with a thin, wispy-lacing light tan head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasted caramel malt and a hint of milk chocolate. Body starts thin and semi-sweet with a lot of drier, nutty, toasty flavor toward the finish. A little weak for the style, but fairly well-balanced.
