COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed using locally-grown cranberries, this beer captures the spirit of a true New England Thanksgiving: the harvest celebration and the sharing of food amongst friends. Fermented with a traditional ale yeast that lets the cranberries provide the signature aroma, this beer is balanced by the ‘bready’ notes of the Vienna and Munich malts.

Sampled in the Harpoon brewery taproom. Light grain aroma. Amber, offwhite cream. Light fruity grain. Ok body, not much power.

Bottle. Pours a clear brown with a medium sized lightly beiged off white head. Nutty malt, a bit of sweet malt, and a touch of cranberry (but I suspect it’s only because I’m looking for it). Medium bodied, a little sweet, a touch metallic, and a good amount of nutty malt. Finishes up with some sweet cranberry, a bit tart and more nutty malt, this time turning a tad bitter.

12oz Bottle. Empty mineral nose. Pours clear dark henna and copper, with a foamy off-white thick head. Flavors come across to me mainly in hops, rosehips, and metallic, sharp malt sugar. Surprisingly bitter and noticeably thin in the cranberry flavor for me, I guess. I mean, I see it there, but it isn’t dazzling me. Was glad to see that this didn’t come across as punishingly sweet. Hard to tell how I really feel about this beer...

Amber color with thick white head. Slight yeast and cranberry aroma. Dry malty flavor with some cranberry. Tart finish from cranberries. Would go great with Thanksgiving dinner,

A very tasty and easy drinking clear light amber brew from Harpoon. Proceeds go to charity. How fitting. Aroma is light biscuit, almost lager-like. Flavor of the cranberry is subtle but evident. Nicely balanced by some light malts and bitter-spice hop finish. Well worth a try.

Pours copper with a pinkish/tan head. Smells of carnberries, earthy, peppery, some caramel. Tastes of pepper, tea, biscuity, some cranberry hints. Dry, earthy finish. Weird.
