COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed using locally-grown cranberries, this beer captures the spirit of a true New England Thanksgiving: the harvest celebration and the sharing of food amongst friends. Fermented with a traditional ale yeast that lets the cranberries provide the signature aroma, this beer is balanced by the ‘bready’ notes of the Vienna and Munich malts.

$1.75 Bottle, Wine Warehouse, CHO. Pours brownish red with a tiny dusting of a head. Smells of cheap lager, cranberry, grape... almost a champagne smell. Tastes of heavy cranberry, almost candied, but not sweet. Finishes with a strong cheap lager taste.

Moderate head that leaves some slippery lace. Dark amber/light brown color. Clear. Dark amber malt aroma with a touch of sour berry. A light honey sweet overlay to the smell. Dry malt flavor with a surprising level of hop in the finish. The cranberries are nearly imperceptible; shows up best in the swallow. Dry, short-lived finish. Creamy body with a lower carbonation. Overall, it’s a decent offering but resembles a dry amber ale more than anything else.

Amber pour, faint aroma of cranberry, slightly tart mild cranberry flavor. Not bad but nothing special.

Too tart but I suppose that’s what you get with cranberry. Nice dark color, no head...probably won’t be drinking this again.

Bottle. Light reddish-brown. Medium size head. Seems to have more cranberry aroma than flavor. Most of the cranberry taste is in the after taste. Not a bad beer but won’t drink again.

Draft at brewery. Poured reddish/pink and bright. Thin white head. Aroma and flavor were light cranberry, lightly tart and lemony. Seemed a bit thin but quite quaffable and appropriate for the season.

12/03/13 RAK gift from Jodi. By no means was this a bad beer; it just didn't have much of a flavor. No cranberry presence. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bottle. Pours reddish copper brown with a thin white head and lots of lacing. Tastes like malt and cranberry. Just barely tart. Dry chalky feel. Medium body and low carbonation. Smells like malt, grains, and very mild berries.
