COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed using locally-grown cranberries, this beer captures the spirit of a true New England Thanksgiving: the harvest celebration and the sharing of food amongst friends. Fermented with a traditional ale yeast that lets the cranberries provide the signature aroma, this beer is balanced by the Ďbreadyí notes of the Vienna and Munich malts.

Odd greenish-red color (oak) with a thin head. Aroma is cranberry and spice. The cranberry taste is very light, a little more evident in the finish. Rather disappointing. Itís not horrible but my least favorite Harpoon to date.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a moderate white head. Definite fruit and cranberry notes in the nose. Taste is a tad sour, and not a taste I particularly care for.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a clear amber with a one finger tan head. Good lacing and head retention. Smell is of very tart fruit. There is a tiny bit of malt that comes through. The flavor is very tart. Way too heavy on the cranberries here. I cannot really detect any malt at all. The beer finished crisp and dry with no hops to speak of. Mouthfeel is light. This is just not my kind of beer. The cranberries and accompanying tartness is way over the top.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 3/19/12

Aroma: It has something cranberry-like that isnít exactly cranberry and something that is very medicinal (Robitussin?), the cranberry Robitussin overpowers anything else that may be present in the nose here...
Appearance: It pours a transparent reddish-amber color with a small off-white head and no lace
Flavor: The taste, much like the nose, is a rather unusual combination of sweet and medicinal
Palate: Light bodied, with average-to-soft carbonation, a cloying stickiness, and an unpleasant finish
Overall Impression: Iím sure this stuff would have made for great medicine in Chris Rockís house, but as beer it didnít work at all. No íMo Tussin Beer, and since I donít have anything else to say about this one:
"l broke my leg, Daddy poured Robitussin on it. Yeah, boy, let that ítussin get in there. Yeah, boy, let that ítussin get on down to the bone. The ítussin ought to straighten out the bone. ltís good. If you run out of ítussin, put some water in the jar, shake it up, MO íTUSSIN!"

Disappointing. Captures the the tannins of the cranberries more than anything. Very one-dimensional. Better when coupled with hearty or heavily-seasoned food.

12oz bottle. Light brown color. Aroma of tart fruit, cereal malts. Tastes of beer with hints of cough medicine. Not great. Finishes like a poorly made Brown Ale. Kinda awful. (3867)

Pours deep coppery with ruby highlights and a 2-finger frothy white head. Nose is caramel malt, earthy, slight cranberry. Tastes not very good at all, with an overpowering fake cranberry flavor, a lot of sticky cloying flavors, and a crappy finish. This one isnít very good.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of cranberry, malt, and caramel, Earth, and a hint of vomit. Poured deep amber/copper in color with a small to medium-sized, creamy, dense, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling to very sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet. Tastes of malt, and a hint of cranberry. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt finish. Pretty gross.

Bottle at home. tulip at fridge temp. pours a 1 finger creamy head that doesnít fade. Looks like burnt plums in the body. candied cranberry fake syrupy taste. tart on the nose. semi-sweet. Taste is very sweet up front, tart and dry at the finish. Middle is like cough syrup.

Wow. I usually donít care for fruit beers, but if found this one REALLY offensive. Smells like robotussin cough syrup. Tastes worse. Very fake fruity tartness. Drainpour.
