3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 ChainGangGuy (3837) - Canton, USA - JAN 14, 2012
12 ounce bottle - $1.29 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. Best By: 02/15/12.
Appearance: Pours a clear, golden-mahogany body with a small, whipped, bone white head.
Smell: A simple nose of oven-toasted bread crusts atop a faintly tart fruit accent that isn’t immediately identifiable as cranberry.
Taste: Bready, toasty Munich malt with a light incorporated caramelesque sweetness to it. A sip of subtly tart cranberry juice, that’s all. Very little in the way of hops or bitterness. Drying, minutely fruity, malty finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Harpoon played it safe with the cranberry here, but, maybe they just didn’t want a Cranberry Lambic on their hands.

Less objectionable than I expected. The aroma is caramel, cranberry, bread. The appearance is clear, deep amber, whit head. The flavor is cranberry upfront, bready. Medium in body, actually a little thin. The finish is tart, cranberry, no hops at all. OK to drink.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 blankboy (4453) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 27, 2012
Bottle [12oz]. Pours a deep orange-amber with an average size lasting frothy off-white head. Mild aroma of sweet berries, biscuity malt and grain. Slightly watery flavour of sweet berries, mild cranberry tartness, caramel malt, grain and a slightly unpleasant finish. Light to average bodied. A decent Fruit Beer but it’s a little mild and bland for my liking.

Malt aroma with light tangy fruits. Dark orange color with a medium off white head. Light beginning with a sweet tangy finish. Might have been a little old. The place I got it from is know for that. (Davis St. Package Store Oakville, CT)

Pretty dark amber with more of the red hues and can produce a frothy head. Fruity aromas of sour apple, juicy fruit gum, cranberry, slight grapefruit, slight perfumlike hints. Flavors of cranberry actually come through though more light, can be noticed well through the whole flavor experience. Other more subtle flavors of slight caramel, with a hint of nuttyness and very light bread. The bitter dry end doesnt seem to balence well with all the overall flavors. Slightly sweet, tart, dry. A sip here and there is rather lightly tasty but to fast and it becomes old fast.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 rougeau13 (1222) - Texas, USA - MAR 21, 2012
Dark brown-amber with a modest cream colored head that laces just a bit. Aroma of nuts, bready malt, earth and light cranberry. The taste is malty with some cranberry sweetness and tartness and a very mild bitterness. Medium bodied, very slightly dry. Overall, pretty decent, the cranberry is quite mild and serves as more of an accent than a primary element.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 ben4321 (2224) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAR 19, 2012
Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 3/19/12
Aroma: It has something cranberry-like that isn’t exactly cranberry and something that is very medicinal (Robitussin?), the cranberry Robitussin overpowers anything else that may be present in the nose here...
Appearance: It pours a transparent reddish-amber color with a small off-white head and no lace
Flavor: The taste, much like the nose, is a rather unusual combination of sweet and medicinal
Palate: Light bodied, with average-to-soft carbonation, a cloying stickiness, and an unpleasant finish
Overall Impression:
I’m sure this stuff would have made for great medicine in Chris Rock’s house, but as beer it didn’t work at all. No ’Mo Tussin Beer, and since I don’t have anything else to say about this one:
"l broke my leg, Daddy poured Robitussin on it. Yeah, boy, let that ’tussin get in there. Yeah, boy, let that ’tussin get on down to the bone. The ’tussin ought to straighten out the bone. lt’s good. If you run out of ’tussin, put some water in the jar, shake it up, MO ’TUSSIN!"

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 SamP01 (243) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 29, 2012
12oz bottle (thanks mike67). Pours a reddish amber with a medium short lived white head. Aroma of caramel malt and sweet fruity spices and esters. Taste is same as aroma with some tart cranberry flavor. Palate is good medium body, carbonation is good. Finish is sweet caramel malt followed by some lingering fruity tartness, cranberries and touch of nutty aftertaste. Overall a descent showing for a fruit beer. Nice holiday brew
