12oz bottle. Very drinkable, much less bitter than the IPAs I’m used to drinking (Stone IPA, Bell’s Two Hearted Ale), and also a noticably lighter ABV (5.9%, vs ~7%). As a result, my non-IPA loving friends had nice things to say about this beer, but it had a little less bite than I prefer.

12oz bottle purchased from brewery poured a light copper with white head. Flural aromas of peppery spicey hops and some fruit peel. Flavor is bright and bitter with a lighter body. Finish is a bit dry with some lasting bitterness

On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Very light hops, dry and soft. Sweet, earthy and gritty, grain and toast, sweet caramel and almost a hint of banana. Slow grapefruit, noble hop bitterness. Floral and fruity afternotes.

Pours a golden honey colour with a little white head. A mild citrus, floral, malt aroma. Malty for a IPA, to me, it’s more a hoppy light ale. Not a bad drink, just not a great one.

BREW FEST 2011! I had so many IPAs that they almost began to run together. This one was less impressive than the rest but not bad. Nice and hoppy, of course with a slight piney taste. A little fruity and not bad. Not my favorite though and not much to say about it.

Slightly bitter, malty beer--closer to a kind of boring amber in my book than an IPA. so-so beer

Hazy golden/copper colored beer with a slight white head. Faint aromas of floral/herbal hops. Tastes of spruce, bitter hops, and not much else. No fruit taste noticeable. Still manages to be refreshing, and smooth. A slightly below average ipa.
