What’s Beer Connoisseur Magazine and what are they smoking? Smells like Hallertauers in here?! This is a Pilsner that’s graduated from kindergarten to third grade or a flunked, gelding IPA. It’s growing on me but it neither has the oxidized hops and soft body of the Old World examples of the style and not any kind of keen sharpness and brutal fresh dry-hopping of the West Coast style. It’s too fruity. Damn, beer shouldn’t piss someone off. Mies, this one’s for you...

This IPA has a nice golden color. A respectable hoppy and floral nose. I feel that the body was a bit light for the style, but it was a very good beer.

Rich golden/copper colour. Nose: sweet, hoppy, floral. Thick & somewhat sticky feel. Taste: dry at first with little sweetness (not overly textured) giving way to a nice, sharp bitterness and lingering finish.

first thing i noticed was this is probably the clearest IPA i’ve ever seen. moderate citrus aromas and fairly well-balanced. not too bitter. pretty light body for an IPA
