Slightly bitter/grapefruity hops. Pretty nice hoppy aroma and a bit of sweet malt in there too. Effervescent yet smooth palate.

Not a bad IPA, refreshing and crisp, several of these goes down easy. Nice aroma of hops, but not overpowering. A little malt body but not too sweet. Quite tasty

Pretty good. Nice golden color and head that stick to sides of glass. Definite hop aroma;clean and refreshing. Nice mouth feel, medium-high carbonation but doesnít bite. Clean hop flavor thatís balanced well with malt. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Medium sized creamy and smooth white head and fine-large sized bubbles that mostly diminished. Carbonated, transparent and a straw yellow hue. Malty, hoppy and a sweet aroma with a mostly hoppy flavor. The mouthfeel was fairly smooth. This was a medium bodied beer with very sparse lacing.

This bottled brew poured a large sized head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was softly carbonated transparent and orange colored. The aroma was a simple mild malt hop one and the mouth feel was mildly tingly mildly hoppy and thin. The flavors contained notes of mild hops. Too mild for a good IPA. Hop heads should pass on this one.

12oz bottle, 05.18.04 Pours brilliant, brassy golden; monstrous head (for an IPA) with tons of texture and immediate lacing. Aromas of springtime wheatfields, green salad with celery and bell pepper. Flavor is amazingly balanced, some tartness too it. This beer is much more hoppy than I had anticipated and itís a fairly old bottle to boot. A nice surprise that Iíve passed by too many times.

Lighter brown, small clinging white head. Smells of citrus hops. Slightly sweet malt finish. Not bad in the balance department, but this beer drinks more like a pale ale to me.

Mmmm... grapefruit. Had this on tap when it was my turn to buy rounds. After some Miller Liteís, I suppose anything is good. But I liked this. The flavor, and the slightly bitter aftertaste, made it a good beer.
