Bottled. Floral, hoppy aroma is very nice. Hop presence (taste-wise) is not at all overpowering. A solid, above average, IPA, very similar to Dogfish’s 60-minute brew.

A decent IPA. Gold color, nice white head, hops and malt in nice balance. A very typical IPA, but by no means a poor representation.

Pours golden. Nice amount of hops in the nose, but the taste is not as hoppy and floral as I’d normally expect in an IPA, but nice to drink none the less.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2009 Pours light copper into the glass, with medium froth. Hints at tropical and floral aromas. Flavor is good, a bit softer than traditional IPA’s, with light banana maltiness ufront, a little copper in the mid-palate, and a crisp hop finish.... lingering slightly. Easy to drink, with a light body and lively carbonation that plays well with the close of the pull. Not complex, as the mouthfeel is a little thin for a traditional IPA, but it’s reliable, and a relatively solid offering.

Copper amber, decent head. Easy drinking, nothing fancy here. OK session beer, an East coast version. I have a case, I will drink it.

Golden amber with a sudsy foam head, silently still inside. Light hoppy aroma. Astringent grassy hop character, woody and biting.

need to rerate now that I know better- still a great session beer, still nice understated hoppiness and yes, still some bannan like fruitness. I good introduction to great beer.

Pours dark straw/light coppery. Aroma of malt, hops, citrus, some spiciness. The flavor is malty, subdued hoppy, with finishing citrus and black pepper notes. Finishes crisp and medium bodied.

Tap at Andy’s. And a fresh keg at that. Clear and yellow with a white head. Mellow fresh hop aroma. Smooth even malt/hop flavor that is not over the top. Initially this is pale ale like in character, but the hops build rather nicely and cumulate into what is a decent IPA when fresh, for the fresh hops make this beer worth drinking.
