Color yellow orange with golden highlights. Well carbonated with decent balance. Not a serious IBU IPA but enough hops for a back end pop. Dead cold outta a bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

For an IPA this is an extremely light beer. I’ve had worse IPA’s but I wouldn’t ask for this again.

Bottle. Golden, average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel with light fruitiness, some piney hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light fruitiness, light piney hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light fruitiness with some caramel, some citrus - piney hoppyness. OK IPA - bit too sweet/too much caramel.

Originally reviewed: 8/20/09. I was surprised to see that I’ve never reviewed this beer. Grabbed a few bottles again and thought I’d finally knock this one off. Pours a light gold with a nice 2-finger white head on top. Decent retention and it leaves some nice pretty lacing on the glass. Smells very floral and citrusy, of the orange/pineapple variety. The mouth is crisp and clean. I notice a vast amount of bubbles rising through this beer. Not spritzy though. Just right. This is a very simple, well-made IPA. I would compare this with Goose Island’s IPA. Very simple and it hits the spot every time. Nice citrus backbone that finishes slightly sweet. Mellow bitterness that is not harsh in any way. I could drink these all night. Recommend.

Pours a light copper color on draft with little head that dissipates, and decent lacing. Little aroma, maybe a little alcohol malts. Flavor is weak, slight citrus up front, but just ends on alcohol note. Mediocre IPA at best.

Poured a light amber color with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus hops. This is definitely an east coast IPA. Not nearly as bitter as it’s west coast cousins. Finish is smooth.

Tap. Mostly clear orange pour with a white head. Pine resin and bread around in this one. Decent.

Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is floral and fruity. Taste is sweet initially with mild fruity bitterness. More of an English IPA IMO. Drinkability is high.
