Thanks kiefdog for the share. Pours clear gold with a fluffy off-white head. Nose is caramel, floral hops, citrus, and caramel. Flavor is similar with slight oxidation, caramel, and floral hops. Finishes off-bitter. Decent IPA.

Bottle, on the best before date, a not-ha-ha-funny coincidence. I really appreciated the intense floral side of the apt hoppinness of this beer. Maybe a little simple and straightforward but very, very enjoyable to me, and underrated, I think.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ansermadide (850) - Kyle, Texas, USA - FEB 15, 2010
Rich, orange translucent color... Yep, pretty orange color. Lace-like lacing and a pure white head. Amber malt aroma with light, earthy hops. Smells sweet. Fruity mouthfeel, hoppy but not like your everyday IPA. more like an ambery, fruity, malty pale. Something reminds me of a fermented fruit punch. Ana says perhaps apricot notes... Lively mouthfeel, really.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mataichi (63) - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, USA - FEB 6, 2010
12oz bottles.
Pours a nice copper orange with a thick head. Aroma of resin/piny hops. It is well balanced with the other tastes and senses. Compared to the other IPAs I’ve had, this is a bit on the light side. There is not the overpowering punch in the face of hops. Which, depending on your mood could be a good thing. Probably to light for the hardcore hop heads. Maybe a good introduction into the IPA arena.
All in all a very nice tasting beer.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 rhoderickj (49) - Maryland, USA - FEB 4, 2010
Floral aroma with a hint of pine. Average appearance for an IPA: a pale straw color with a medium head. The pine aroma becomes really apparent after the first sip, where the taste then fills out with a nicely balanced bitterness. The bitterness is offset by the beer’s other aspects, rather than some brewers who simply want to thrus hops down my throat without thinking about how it affects the beer as a whole. The finish is spicy and slightly bitter. Medium body with average carbonation. Overall, this a good IPA. Very drinkable.
