3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A decent average everyday IPA that won’t let you down. This one isn’t anything spectacular, but also not bad. Has some nice citrus and pine notes, finishes pretty clean.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained light ivory, tiny bubbled head with extensive lacing over a clear light gold (SRM 4) body......nose is light pine, citrus peel from the hops, cereal from the malts, light bread from the yeast....taste is light cereal, minimal sweetness, bread from the yeast moderate pine, citrus tones from the hops, finishing with moderate bitterness.....mouth feel, body light of medium, no astringency, alcohol hidden, light acid on the finish. This is nicely balanced between the hop, mlt and yeast contributions. Unfortunately, they are all somewhat light considering the evolution of the style. The malts would benefit from the addition of caramel/crystal malts and the hops could use a greater charge of hops such as cascade, centennial, simcoe or citra. This is really more of an APA than an IPA. BJCP 6/3/12/4/6

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a clear, bubbly, and light gold in color, white frothy head with good sticky lacing that doesn’t last.
The smell had some floral, citrus, and some grassy pine. There were subdued malts come out as it warms.
The taste had a mild citrus hop flavor, malts come out as it warms.
The palate sat about a medium, somewhat sticky coating the mouth and tongue, sessionable, sticky finish, no aftertaste.
Overall, this was a pretty good American IPA, maltier than most AIPA’s, but hey I’d come back to it.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
5 week old can. Crystal clear amber, with a one inch frothy head that dissipates to a thin layer of bubbles. Floral and slightly piney hop on the aroma, with some light estery fruitiness and biscuity malt. Some strong metallic notes too. Taste follows a similar line, with initial metallic note giving way to a biscuity sweetness and a reasonably crisp bitter finish. Slightly perfumed hop flavour is also present. Finish is moderately dry, with a light but lingering fruity hop aftertaste, and medium to lively carbonation. All round a solid beer, but it seems to have picked up some off flavours from the can.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I found this beer to be a middle of the road IPA. It had a funky aftertaste.
