2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 BeerBunker (687) - Burbank, Illinois, USA - SEP 21, 2009
12oz bottle. Pours golden like a pale lager, with a small white head. Aroma is of hops, pine, floral notes, and malt. Taste is of soapy hops, pine, floral notes, and alcohol. Has a base of biscuity malt that fails to even this beer out. Mouthfeel is light and carbonated. What a complete mess.

Light floral bouquet, clear golden body, thin white head, nice dry hops all over the tongue, crisp finish

Pretty good. Surprisingly thick mouthfeel. Nice hoppy aroma. Good flavor. Dry finish.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 EricE (1232) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - SEP 12, 2009
Slight hop aroma with a bit of cereal malt. A bit of skunk. Watery malt flavor with almost no hops to hit. Drinkable but I don’t see how you could call this an IPA.

bottle: served in a shaker and paired with spicy pad thai noodes. Pours beautiful light amber with slowly rising bubbles and thick, foamy head. The bitter hop oil exudes in the arouma, as if the smells can’t wait to jump into my nostrils. Soapy, dishwasher smell, but inviting.
The hop has a nice hit, but the malty sweetness is there to balance. Cuts right through the spicy food and leaves no weird aftertaste. I can’t taste any alcohol. Mouthfeel is slightly soapy, but not offensive and smooth. Medium thick body.
Makes a great drink overall, and apparently pairs well with spicy food.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 rosenbergh (3145) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 22, 2009
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2011 355 ml bottle. From Windsor, VT.
Clear amber colour with small white head.
Caramel sweetness, malt, fruity parfumy sweet hops and some bitterness in aroma. Sweet fruity hops, candy sweetness and some mild alcohol in flavour. Not that good.

Clear deep gold with a frothy white head that left excellent lacing. Pleasant hops aromas dominate the nose, but plenty of support from a mild maltiness. Somewhat subdued citrus hops taste with a nicely balanced biscuity maltiness. Medium body, slightly resiny mouthfeel, lots of carbonation. Less over-the-top hops bitterness than many of the West Coast IPAs.

light floral hops taste and smell, with a nice malt backbone, not very complicated, an English style ipa i would assume with the amount of hops present..very smooth refreshing taste with the abv well hidden..overall this was nice to try, but nothing special, it doesn’t really stand out and say buy me again..
