COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered and force carbonated.
Ingredients: Water, Three malts, including a 2-row pale, Northwest Cascade Hops, and Yeast.
This copper colored ale is floral, medium bodied, with a crisp, refreshing finish. Originally our summer seasonal in 1993, it is now available year-round. Harpoon IPA was ranked atop both domestic and imported IPAs by Beer Connoisseur Magazine.

Light amber pour with a foamy head. Aroma of grassy hops and some malt. Flavor balanced between hops and malt with neither being very strong. Not a bad beer, just a bland one.

Another really boring pale ale. Pours clear light copper with a weak head. ridiculous carbonation. weak malt aroma. Unfortunately the flavor is weak on the hops too. Bland feel all arond. At least the finish is agreeable.

Bottle. Nice citrusy aroma. Bright golden body, creamy white head. Semi-sweet malt and grapefruit flavor. Refreshing bitter finish. Well done.

ROGUE (1315) - Newark, Delaware, USA - DEC 30, 2008
12oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange yellow color, 2 finger head with nice retention very nice lacing throughout. Aroma has floral notes with hints of citrus. Taste has a nice sweetness up front with a touch of citus, but finishes with a good amount of bitter hoppiness. This is a medium bodied brew with good carbonation.

Brassy color with a medium sized head. Light lacing. Aroma with grain and floral notes. Taste is somewhat less hoppy than average for an American IPA with a fairly complex maltiness. Finish is bitter and floral.
