Draught in Boston. Pretty average IPA overall. No strong characteristics overall. Just seemed a little bland and dusty.

Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of orange and pine resin. Flavour had plenty of sweet malts, with citrus and floral hops and a dry, peppery finish. Good stuff.

Bottle from Canals. Orange pour with a hoppy aroma. It is blended good but just a little weak for me and kind of falls short of it’s potential.

Bottle. Poured a light copper with a thin and quickly idsappearing white head. Bready yet floral aroma. Flavor is floral malt with underlying hops, very crisp. Has a bit of a sweet aftertaste, goes down very easy and is very drinkable. final mouthfeel is thin but refreshing. I think that this is a very good beer, although it might not be the best IPA, if it could even be considered a true IPA.

Bottle. Pours a clear blonde with a one-finger pale white head that dissipates rather quickly. The aroma is bready. Malt qualities are predominant with some hints of orange. Much like the aroma, the flavour is also pretty malty. The initial flavour is of malts. Hops start to become noticeable, but only stand behind the malt. Juicy, citrusy fruits add some nice rounded flavours to the sharp hops. The mouth feel towards the finish is watery. The finish is slightly dry. Bitterness bites the back of the tongue as the sweet fruitiness counteracts around the centre and the front of the tongue. Malts start to dwindle away as the hops finally become a little more dominant. This really isn’t that great. It’s mediocre, at best.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma was slightly hoppy. Flavor was malted well, but lacked the hops to back up the malt. Good beer, but not an IPA
