Bottle. Pours a golden color with white head. Hoppy, floral, grassy aromas. Nice floral, hoppy, earthy, bitter flavors. Alright IPA.

When I walk into a dive and I see bud light, bud heavy, miller, coors light, and Stella on tap this beer is on too. Good thing it is too because in that situation I would order that. But that’s the only time that would happen.

Decent, drinkable, moderately flavored IPA. Not a stand-out, but I’d drink it again. Mild citrus and floral flavors and mild aroma. On draft at Pappadeaux, Dallas/Fort Worth Airport.

Would drink if it was my only choice. Super light and low hop taste. Ok but there is way better stuff out there.

Faint hoppy aroma, with a hoppy start to the flavor and a smooth easily drinking finish that sadly lacks the teeth of more full flavored ipas... Not hoppy enough

Clear golden with a thin white cap. Nose just has a lightly bitter and grassy tone throughout. Flavor is a bit lightish and smooth, with a floral and delicate hop flavor buttressed by a gentle pale malt sweetness. Kind of a letdown. Too medium and not bitter or forceful enough.

Some hop aroma and funky lager like aroma. Taste has that lager funk and light floral hop. Ok ipa but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours a clear light copper with gold highlights, bright white head. Aroma is a very light earthy floral mix. Taste isa combo of light caramel malt, light citrus fruit and hops. Thin mouthfeel. This IPA would be a good one to introduce a hop newbie to.

Served at Redbone’s in Somerville, MA as "Dryhopped Harpoon IPA with Charlie’s Homegrown Fuggles"
Golden color and mildly cloudy. Great lace left by a modest head.
Smells like a high-hopped homebrew, meaning I can detect some spent yeast, lighter malt and fresh floral hop. Very nicely balanced for the style.
Served appropriately warm, approximately 50 degrees (cask conditioned). Again the blend is very pleasant -- the hop is more mild than most IPA’s but it is pronounced. This continues through the swallow and aftertaste. The body is full with an expected lighter carbonation level.

To start, I must admit having a soft spot for this beer. When it was first introduced, it was the best IPA I had up to that point. Throughout New England, this is my favorite regularly available beer. That said, it is not my favorite IPA any longer, but it is worthy of this review.
A-color is honey to light amber. Has a two-finger head that leaves clumpy lace on the glass.
S-Floral hop bouquet, although this muted from some of the "big" IPA’s now available. This bottle had a slight refridgerator smell.
T/M-Nice bitter flavors with a moderate body and an above average carbonation. Fairly smooth in terms of mouthfeel. The aftertaste is largely bittering hop.
D-I find this to be the quintessential drinking IPA. It’s not too pronounced in any of the areas that some IPA’s are prone to. A consistent performer.
