Great IPA, especially out of the tap. The aroma is sharp and hoppy with a nice undertone of citrus. The hops are present, but not overpowering, with a strong citrus start, good clean middle, and a lingering bitter aftertaste, the way an IPA should be. Not the best IPA out there, but Harpoon's best beer, and their flagship beer.

I dont think I should of drank this right after having Stones IPA. Bottle, poured a mild orange and yellow, clear. Head poured a foamy white with a nice lace. Aroma was weak with this one. I tried everything. Held my hand over the glass for a good 30 secs then a big whiff, let it warm up a good bit. Couldnt get a great aroma. The bottle advertisies thats itís highly hopped, I beg to differ. Mildly hopped, but a good floral flavor. Not a bad brew for a hot day after work. Would pass on it a second time.

On tap at Brattleboro Marina Restaurant. Aroma is floral hops and malts. Appearance is golden color with a white head. Tastes heavy bitter with malts and something else which I couldnít figure out. Medium bodied. Overall, a decent IPA, but with a lingering taste which I couldnít identify.

Pours dark golden, slight head bubbly more than foamy. Not much aroma. First sip smooth, easy drinking. Not much aftertaste, much to be desired. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the tap at Crossroads Cantina, in Waterbury, CT. Light and a little bitter, a good beer to drink even at the end of a long night.

very good. not much flavor at first, but give it a chance. Flowery hop, a little bitter, and smooth finish. Good beer and would buy again.

Light, copper golden ale. Floral hoppy nose (cascades). Slight sweetness in body, hoppy, but not excessively bitter finish. Dry finish. Good hoppy American IPA, but not as extreme as some of the more recent offerings to the style.

Had this one at a bruins game at the new "Gadin" this was a nice beer, lots of bitter hops however it was not all hops, there was some nice Pale malt tast too, however after the tounge was teased by the malt it was tourtured by the hops, wouldnt have my beer nay other way

Poured thin, with very little head. Orangey-copper color. The aroma matched the appearance, very citrusy smelling, with the strong hop scent I expected. Very crisp, floral flavor. Iím not a huge hop-head, but I didnít find myself puckering up after each sip like I have with some others. Nice clean finish that left a little tingle in the insides of my cheeks. A decent beer. I wouldnít buy it for myself again, but if someone was offering to pick up the tab, Iím sure Iíd be able to enjoy it.

Wonderful beer. This isnít a hop bomb and it isnít trying to be. It is an easy drinking, high quality IPA. Literally nothing bad to say about Harpoon. Tastes great and you can drink a ton without even realizing it. Nice hop aroma and bitter taste. Perfect example of an IPA. Cheers!
