At the source! Nice amber color, light head. Nice hop aroma. Malts up front, light hop presence at the finish. A good lighter IPA, Iíll drink it again and again

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Best in a good draft glass. Harpoon IPA establishes IPA characteristics in basic but good ways. Golden-copper colouring, nice head, lasting sweet and citrusy finish. Its on the lighter side of IPA but all its trying to do is be a decent IPA for the masses, which it suceeds at.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
nice smell, and nice beginning, tastes weak - really flimsy ending, not hoppy enough. iím beginning to see a theme in the harpoon beers.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Solid IPA that features nice flavor without a lot of bite. Well balanced and easy to drink as session IPA. This is a good IPA to serve to somebody who might usually shy away from really bitter IPAís, but would still enjoy the hoppy flavor.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light orange color, very little head. Floral scents in the smell. The taste is watery and very thin. Decent lawn mower beer.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very weak light copper with diminishing head. Scent of alcohol over the hops. Not very smooth. Not my favorite IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is pretty much the only legit IPA to be found on tap in Rochester. Pours a nice golden copper with a thick head. Very hoppy in both aroma and flavor. The only fault I could find with this one is the light bodied character. A well-rounded beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear amber color. Floral piney hop on the aroma. Biscuity sweetness is tempered with a persistent floral hop flavor. Finishes with dry crisp bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer poured into the glass a gold color. The head was foamy white head that left fairly fast but the skim that it left was able to leave some lace. The aroma was of citrus, hops and citrus hops. The taste was not too heavy on the hops but they were present, but they shared it with the citrus. Some malt seemed to be present at the back of the taste but it faded quick. Pretty good for this style. I think it would be a good starter for a beginning IPA drinker
