Bottle. Mild caramelly aroma. Almost clear dark golden colour. Very small white head. Good caramelly flavour. Not overly much, but enough. Slightly high bitterness, clean. Well-balanced. A good IPA for beginners.

harrisoni (13564) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 5, 2008
Bottle from Utobeer. Gold with lasting white head. American hop aroma, a little woody, some grapefruit. Fairly toned down US IPA. Malts are a bit wonky. It’s fine, but as I say needs a bit more backbone. Hops are pretty generic.

Bottle, 12oz, at Haand Festival -14. It pours an almost clear body, golden in color and with a small, white head. The aroma is piney and citrus peel-ish, with some malts kicking in. Bitter flavor with piney, citrusy hops on a backdrop of pale malts. Full-bodied, soft and nicely carbonated, with bitter, citrusy finish. I prefer the even more hop forward west coast IPA’s, but this is a really fine one anyway. 140523

TBone (12538) - Pori, FINLAND - MAY 17, 2007
Bottled
Pale hazy yellow, small white head. Bready, parfumic hoppy nose. Basic bready, American hoppy flavour. Standard American IPA with slight honey sweetness. Nothing wrong in this brew, but not very interesting.

Impressively hoppy IPA - West Coast flavour from Mass. Good curranty notes. Had it with chili when I was in NYC. It was a brilliant combination, repeated frequently since.

jcwattsrugger (11078) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - SEP 27, 2005
12 oz bottle packaged 6/30/05-pours a thick creamy light tan head that reduces. Color is clear yellow-gold. Appearance of the beer is minimal carbonation. Aroma is hoppy-malt. Taste is hoppy with nicely balancing of malts. Good carbonation. This beer is much better out of a glass than the bottle.
