Ausgeprägter IPA Geruch. Sehr dumpf, nicht so aromatisch wie der Geruch, echt schade. Schmeckt wie ein durchschnittliches IPA mit Wasser gepantscht. Ich habe gesprochen.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 hopdog (7053) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 12, 2004
Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of flowers, and a kinda of musty yeasty smell that I did not enjoy. Light bitter tasting (not as much as a typical IPA). I’ll pass on this one in the future.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 13, 2009
A golden IPA with a thick receeding white head. In aroma, a nice floral hops, pinous, and classy. In mouth, a rather crisp and British rendition, with biscuitty malts, good floral hops, not overpowering. A nice entry level IPA. On tap at Harpoon Tap House, Logan Airport, Nov. 11 2009.

22 oz bomber. Pale golden beer, thick white head. Aroma is slightly metallic, which is never a good sign with notes of stale earthy/spicy hops that become even more so as it warms up. Light breadiness with a hint of light toastiness. Apple/pear esters and a soft earthy hop flavour. Probably suffers from a lack of freshness, but there wasn’t much going on in here to begin with.

Draft: Pours a clear golden with a puffy thick white head. Nice fresh and bold hoppy aroma. Starts sweet and floral, but finishes more dry and grainy, similar to a macro lager. Could use some more finesse and balance.

Slim yellowish head on clear orange beer. Grapey, flowery hops in the nose. Over-powerful hops, but not overly bitter; flowery, very English-character hops. Convincing for an I.P.A.. This is in fact a super-English BB, which is probably what a real India P.A. used to be. Lemon and asparagus flavours. Medium-bodied. Not very filled by malt. Obviously, I like this. Ideomatic for the style.

Bottled, Criterion Leicester. A copper coloured beer with a small white head. A nice hoppy aroma. The hops are on the spicy side, but smell lovely and fresh. The taste is nice and full flavoured. Again lots of hops, and spicy hints also. Tasty.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 BMan1113VR (6531) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAR 17, 2009
Bottle marked best by 6/15/09. Pours with a medium sized foamy head over a clear, pale, golden color. Aroma contains some very weak pine and spicy hops, and light caramel. Taste is pine, light caramel, a few off noted fruity esters, and a slightly astringent finish. Fizzy, bitter finish with a dry mouthfeel.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 3fourths (6407) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 22, 2006
Bottle. Filtered, non-bottle conditioned, yellow. Up front it’s crisp, mildly sweet, with moldy cheese and hop cone scents. Somewhat woody and "twiggy" hop flavor, with the aroma more juicy. Tinny and thin in the finish, bland, I guess. A bit too simple, and for an IPA it really helps to stand out. This one doesn’t.

Bottle. Golden with a small head. Aromas are sweet pine with biscuit malts. Quite herbal. Flavours are herbal and spicy with soft citrus. Some grain with floral notes and hints of soap. Decent.
