Darkish golden with a very nice rocky head. Aroma of hops indeed with some sweetness, good fruitiness. Flavour is fresh, bit yeasty, fruity and hoppy, good maltiness. Dry hoppy finish. Good tasty brew!

Bottled: Golden coloured. Off white medium sized head. Hoppy and malty aroma. Not as distinct as I like it. Flavour is a bit watery and bland. Dies quickly on the palate. This isn’t the most interesting american beer, but nevertheless its my no. 100 american. Thanks Jacob and Martin for sharing.

Lubiere (9999) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 13, 2009
A golden IPA with a thick receeding white head. In aroma, a nice floral hops, pinous, and classy. In mouth, a rather crisp and British rendition, with biscuitty malts, good floral hops, not overpowering. A nice entry level IPA. On tap at Harpoon Tap House, Logan Airport, Nov. 11 2009.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of light carmel, earthiness, a hinnt of pine and some faint citrus notes. Palate was light bodied. Flavors of earthiness, bread and some light lemon with a lingering bitter finish.

Sparkling clear, lightly golden ale with a medium-sized, white, fizzy head. Decent lacing. The aroma is of sweet malt (honey) and very floral, peppery hops. A hint of pine and apricot as well. The flavor is malty for a moment and then the well-balanced, moderately bitter, lightly acetic hop addition kicks in. Very pleasant. Light-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Lengthy, dry, astringent finish with an earthy/woodsy flavor at the very end.

Had this as a cask drawn at an English restaurant in Stowe, VT. Dark amber color with barely any head at all. Aroma is malty and too much to be honest. Not much on the nose as far as hops go. Flavor is creamy but just too malty for my liking in an IPA. Reminds me of a bass more than an IPA.

Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of flowers, and a kinda of musty yeasty smell that I did not enjoy. Light bitter tasting (not as much as a typical IPA). I’ll pass on this one in the future.
