UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 A: Dark amber body. 2 finger off-white head. Good retention and lacing. S: Generic caramel malt and non-descript earthy hop bitterness. T: While decent, this could be the IPA at any mediocre brewpub. Its got a generic caramel malt base, somewhat bready in parts and mildly bitter earthy, piney hops. M: Somewhat thick and chewy. Lively carbonation. Muddled finish. O: Eh. Not bad. But I donít really want to drink "not bad." I am spoiled, I guess.

On tap at Taco Mac. Clear gold with foamy head which leaves splotchy lacing. Aroma is floral hops with light citrus, grainy malt. Taste is mildly bitter with a dry finish. Very crisp; heavy carbonation. A bit soapy. The hops flavor is very subdued and the grain is prominent; along with the mouthfeel, Iím not sure I would have pegged this as an IPA drinking this blind.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 24.06.2013, tap @ Doyleís Cafe Boston:
Tiny shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral and perfumed, hops, light malts, citrus, alcohol, leafs, grass. Taste is slightly dry grassy, hops, light malts, wet leafs, grass soil, caramel. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh. Fair enough.

Not a very impressive IPA. Pale golden. Minimal hoppiness, instead there is a slightly unpleasant bitterness on the finish, maybe a hint of lemon peel. Overall the taste is thin and watery with the primary theme being pine rosin and alcohol. Meh.

When I walk into a dive and I see bud light, bud heavy, miller, coors light, and Stella on tap this beer is on too. Good thing it is too because in that situation I would order that. But thatís the only time that would happen.

Classic American IPA with cascade apparent. Well balanced though, with a fresh dry finish

Fin gyllen farge. Frisk, men bitter med passe varighet. Litt kort i smaken. Lite fyldig og svak ettersmak. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
