3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Pastor (700) - Eliot, USA - JUL 27, 2009
Bottle poured into a pint glass produced a finger worth of white head that trailed to a thick lace. The body was a clear golden yellow in color.
A great hop aroma nice and floral. The flavor is a balance of malts sweetness and hops bitter. This is the original east cost IPA to me all others must measure up to this. The brew is nice and crisp with a nice dry resin finish.
An all around great IPA most of the time I can get this in most bars that serve only macros and it well worth
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20 matalec1984 (48) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 1, 2012
On tap
pour is a heavy gold/copper with medium carbonation. Mouthful is a little sticky for my taste.
Aroma is very light...hard to pull out the hops.
Flavor is fairly bland, bready with a strong bitterness but the hops don’t really have any complexity
Not my favorite as far as ipa’s go
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 csaso (496) - Missouri, USA - MAY 28, 2012
Bottle - good size foamy head, pale copper color, decent hopa aroma and flavor, well balanced with malt - not the strongest IPA in the world, but not bad

Poured fresh from brewery tap, the copper-colored beer offers a floral aroma, with a nice hop finish.
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jimmie65 (5) - Texas, USA - MAY 27, 2012 does not count
Pale golden color.
Aroma was weak - hard to pick up at all.
Not much bitter for an IPA, but full-bodied and refreshing. Creamy.
I wouldn’t turn down a free one, but much better IPAs out there.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 solidfunk (660) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 23, 2012
Smells slightly of hops. There’s a sharp bitter taste and not much else. Pale golden colour. Christ this gets worse and worse as it goes down. Astringent as hell. On tap at the Salt Hill Pub in Newport, NH.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 ronjustron (22) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 23, 2012
Great colour, overall palate is good too, goes down smooth. I prefer it ice cold which gives off a great taste.

What up, Harpoon? This was a nice surprise! The aroma was average, mild. The taste was awesome, really moderate for an IPA, this isn’t a HOP-HEAD beer, just a good tastin’ brew. Moderate body, creamy for an IPA.
