mcc5468 (23), USA May 2, 2008 Light copper color. Not the best aroma - it’s a little light, but the taste is great. A very drinkable IPA.
Beerman6686 (510), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 7, 2008 Poured a hazy orange color with an off white head. Aroma is very floral like a bouquet of flowers. Flavor is also very floral but with a nice malty backbone and a very plain bitter finish. johninmelb (632), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Jul 6, 2008 Fresh and hoppy nose with the usual citrus and grapefruit. Pours pure copper. Flavour also fresh and hoppy and develops a pleasant bitter finish. A fine if undistinguished example of the style. basewars (29), New York, USA Jul 5, 2008 Pours amber with one finger head. Decent lacing. The aroma is floral and citrus. Not over powering but it’s nice. Taste is hoppy but fairly weak. I’m not a big IPA fan so this is good to me. Certainly nothing great for hop heads. BuckeyeSammy (321), New York City, New York, USA Jul 3, 2008 An ipa for the non beer geek. This brew dosent offer much. Bland example of a should be, full flavored style. Not an ounce of the grassy or grapefruit hops I usualy look for an a good IPA. Harpoon succeeded in making an IPA that won’t scare away your typical Bud Light fan. jjuf1853 (171), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle pours a clear golden yellow with a foamy white head. Good lacing along the side of the glass. Faint aroma of citrus and hops. Flavor is also fairly weak when compared to most IPAs. Some bitterness in the finish. Not a bad beer, just not on par with a lot of the better IPAs available.
