Reviewed from notes. Pours a clear straw-golden color with a thin, receding white head and a bit of lacing on the way down. The nose brings some light herbal and citrus hops plus a bit of bread, though as it warms there is far too much butter, beyond what is acceptable even in the most-permissive English styles. The flavor has the same faults, and the butter and toffee coming from the diacetyl is far out of balance and doesn’t just add a smooth creaminess, but instead takes over the entire beer. Light body with a bit of a creamy texture and a mild hop bitterness. This had some potential, but had one major flaw.

Draft. Pours a golden body with a white head. Light roasted hop tones, earth and grassy hop tones. Light spruce and a hint of citrus. Soft and thin with a light carbonation. Alright.

Pouring at the Saturday sessions of EBF. Pours a faintly hazed golden with a thin white head. Soft and grainy, sweet grains and toffee. Cool grain, toast and crackers. Sweet, grainy, and very easy to like. Smooth grain and crackers on the finish. Very nice, and while not a beer that will blow anyone away, wonderful thing to drink a lot of on a lazy spring afternoon.
