| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 9, 2009 Bottle. Brown pour with a medium head. The nose is dominated by malt and alcohol. Taste of yeast, bananas, bread and malt with more alcohol present in the finish. Not bad, but way too much alcohol dominates what could be a nice quad. Jblauvs (643), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 7, 2009 dark amber pour, banana, bubblegum, a little bit yeast. initially not to bad, a bit yeasty and spicy, but immediately after that becomes a bit acrid with poorly hidden alcohol and lack of balance. swoopjones (1932), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 7, 2009 On tap at Coles Buffalo NY. Pours a deep amber. Aromas of banana, spices, Belgian yeastiness. Taste is initial spicy, yeasty then overwhelmed by a booziness that lingers for awhile. Some dried fruit rasin like sweetness. the High ABV/ booziness takes away from the almost spot on Quad flavors. Kudos to the attempt megly (2), Massachusetts, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | May 2, 2009 Bottle. Pours a reddish brown with a small white head. The feel in my mouth is thick and rich. The alcohol is strong, but is balanced with a rich flavor with hints of raisin, honey, and spice. holdenn (1454), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 2, 2009 12 oz bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Pours a clear red with an off white head. Bananas, yeast, and a doughy-ness that reminds me quite a bit of doughnuts. Yeast is strong in the flavors, banana, caramel, dough sweet and lots of booze. Goo! That booze gets stronger and more astringent that this one becomes difficult to continue drinking. Gmoney (259), ManchVegas, New Hampshire, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 27, 2009 12 oz bottle. Hazy mahogany pour with a small receding white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast as well as candy and alcohol. Thick, heavy palate with low carbonation. Flavor is classic Belgian with candy and honey. Others have mentioned bubblegum, I guess thats pretty accurate. Alcohol doen’t make much of an effiort to hide, but it’s warming, not burning. All in all, good effort from Harpoon.
