3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Crystal clear gold pour - sticky, soapy lace - the aroma is of grassy, spicy noble hops, with notes of wildflowers, honey, bread dough - fairly smooth, and it hides the abv well (until the finish) - very spicy, floral hop flavor throughout, with some dry, biscuity maltiness - fairly strong honey sweetness develops after this, with quite a bit of bready flavors as well - then the alcohol starts to come on strong, and gets a little astringent in the finish - at 7.5%, this could have stayed crisp and clean throughout, but at 9%, it kind of falls apart in the end, tasting like a good pils with a wee bit of vodka poured into it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft @ Capones: Poured a hazy yellow with not much head. The aroma was spice, citrus, and hops. The flavor was the same with more lemon and spice. Overall, an easy drinker at 9%.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a nice clear light golden- massive sticky whit head and nice lace. Aroma is packed with tons of spicy and floral czech hops with a nice doughy malt backbone. Flavor is also zest, spicy and almsot resinous from the amount of hops- sap-like, with a slight crackery doughy pils malt, fresh bread, and a touch honey-like since it is so big. Spicy hop finish and pretty smooth fro a 9% impy pils. This is pretty solid stuff.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle - Poured a hazy golden yellow in color with a small white head that faded to a thin rim around the top of the beer. Aroma is fruity with citrus, fairly sweet malts and a pleasant graininess. Flavor is about the same... citrus/lemon and malty grains with flowery hops and a hint of alcohol... although not nearly as much as it contains. Finish is slightly bitter and hoppy. I like this!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering. Pale golden beer. Aroma is lightly zesty with a distinct prickly alcoholic back note. Light crackery malts, but there is a touch of stickier pale malt as well. Soft bitterness with a lingering cotton candy sweetness. Pretty nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours gold, with a white head. Aroma is malt, hops, and grain. Flavor is malt, hops, fruit, grain, and some alcohol. Crisp finish. This tastes more like a pilsner than I thought it would for being 9%. Might need to get more of this.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with a bit of lemon and grass. The flavor is sweet malt followed by lemon and grassy hops. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish. Alcohol at 9% is very well hidden. Very enjoyable.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap at Capones. Pours a lightly hazy golden yellow with a large foamy white head. Aroma of spicy hop notes, sweet cereal grains, light lemon, earthy and herbal. Flavor of ripe banana, Cheerios, light citrus and some spicy hop notes. Too much banana for a lager let alone a Pilsner.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz brown-glass pry-top. Date stamped "128."
Appearance: Poured into a Modelo Pilsner glass, huge white, bubbly head fades quickly without any lacing. Crystal clear, straw with hints of amber.
Nose: Smells like sweet pilsner...Not a lot of hops apparent, but some floral notes.
Palate: Round and sweet up front, medium bodied in the midpalate, and then BAM! there’s the hops. Thin malt-flavor profile is crashed over by the wave of hops which are bitter and fruity. Reminds me a little of a fruit-flavored cereal (fruit plus grain). Bitterness lingers and is a little stinging on the finish. Great big body for a pilsner.
Notes: Not a bad attempt, really. Got some umph in the back-end. Would recommend for a badass hot weather guzzler.
