| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 7, 2009 Clear, light gold pour, minimal head. Aroma holds lots of grain, toasted sesame, and a bit of hop bitterness. Sweet malt flavor, grain, a bit of citrus hop- nothing complex, but a tasty lager. Solid for the style. travita (1970), Frisco, Texas, USA

Pours a clear golden yellow color body with a smallish white head. Hoppy malty bitter citrus aroma. A little musty, not overly strong. A little fruity smelling. Bitter taste, drying, almost acidic. Strong taste, alcoholic. Almost a platricy taste. Very hoppy and bitter tasting. Cletus (5062), Connecticut, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2009 My Bottom Line:
Honeyed malts and spicy hops benefit from a slight alcohol nudge to take this brew to more potent yet still diplomatic realms. I have to admit its nice to see a Svetle Specialni being tried out in North America.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A large head of foam remains atop the transparent pale golden.
-The mouthfeel is super clean and the flavor profile is well balanced.
-Minerals appear in the middle. Or is it oxidation already setting in?
-The cereals also develop hay.
-The nose is a little too subdued for my tastes in the style.
-The spicy hop bitterness is levelled with the rest of the flavor profile.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 20, 2009 My bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold with an average size lasting frothy white head. Aroma has a good amount of Saaz hops along with bread, honey and floral notes, and some alcohol. Flavour is grassy along with bready malt and alcohol. Finish is very bitter and alcoholic. Medium bodied. Not great but pretty good and definitely interesting. BroSpud (618), , Massachusetts, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 19, 2009 12oz bottle. Very well done pilsner. I was a bit hesitant about the high abv on this one but it does not detract at all, very little if any alcohol taste comes through. One of the better pilseners I have had. Pours golden with a foamy head that sticks around. Definite floral hops coming through in a crisp and pleasant grassy taste.
