2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at The Ginger Man
Appearance: crystal clear golden base with healthy, contrasting white top, light carbonation. 4-.
Nose: Mildly grainy with dry yet light alcohol burn , touch of fruit feel.
Flavor/Palate : mid bodied with lighter sides. Malty but its character not as pronounced as in Bocks. Hops are just slight add on . Interesting to see Mocne in its pure from without extra hoping of west. Mild alcoholic dryness at finish. Kudos for being true.

Pours copper with a white head. Smells of sage, dry malt, floral. Tastes peppery and crisp with some earthy elements and a spicy bite on the finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle ( 12oz ). Shared by blankboy. Clear gold, large frothy white head Ɠ+). Strong alcohol aroma, grain and what smells like goldings hops (but yeah, I guess saaz) with dried apples and straw. Nice taste though, apple, alcohol, fresh-cut grain - simple, well-balanced - not boozy-tasting at all. Slick, thick, somewhat squeaky mouthfeel, some alcohol, very muted carbonation and a pretty quick finish that does indeed seem floral/herbal (per the description). Pretty nice stuff.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
In short: A lot of crisp sugary pils malts and a lots of dry-grass. Good, not very good
How: Tap at Vermont’s Brewers Festival 2009
The look: Clear golden-yellow body topped by a persistent small white head
In long: Nose have some typical dry-grass-like saaz hops though not as much as I would have expected from a bohemian pilsner on steroids. Since this is a “big” bohemian pilsner I was hoping for a big bowl of rich cereals but instead I got a lot of crisp sugary pils malts with a sweet white bread flavour. Fortunately there’s enough saaz to dry it out in the finish with a nice dry bitterness. But the boring sugary malts just didn’t do it for me. Also a little too boozy for its own good. Not bad but a big bohemian is just not my thing. I prefer small bohemians. With a nice rack if possible.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
My bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold with an average size lasting frothy white head. Aroma has a good amount of Saaz hops along with bread, honey and floral notes, and some alcohol. Flavour is grassy along with bready malt and alcohol. Finish is very bitter and alcoholic. Medium bodied. Not great but pretty good and definitely interesting.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nose is full of earthy hops, some floral notes, bread, and honey sweetness. Pours golden with a foamy head. The flavor has a good balance with sweet bready malts, honey, earthy bitterness, grass, pepper, and light floral hops. Clean finish, dry and hoppy. Alcohol is well hidden.I liked this one.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Floral hoppiness, bread y biscuit notes, with a hint of fruit. Huge etoh warming and residual sweetness banana and citrus like esters. A bit to big for me i didn’t care for the candied like residual sweetness.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours clear light gold with a fluffy white head. Spicy floral hop aroma, a hint of grass and lighter notes of sweet malt. The flavor has a pale sweet malt base with a solid dose of spicy and floral hops. A really good Imp. Pilsner. Better than Sam Adams, not quite as good as S.T. Krampus.

well, didn’t pay for this, way to busy.. . not a big pilsener, more of a high grade malt likka .. . golden .. harsh, but light sweetness .. . high cost of mules! .. . hides the abv quite well .. . not refreshing at all ..
