4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a light copper color with a white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is grapefruit and tropical fruits. Flavor is grapefruit, mango, tropical fruits with a caramel cake malt finish. Light carbonation with a little sweetness on the mouthfeel with bitterness coming in from the hops. The bitterness does not linger.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a clear and darker golden color with a really thick white head. Nice bit of hoppiness to the nose of this, while the taste has a bit of that hoppy bitterness. Not a bad drink, but not great.

this beer blew me away. doesn’t look like much (and is quite pricey), but the aroma grabbed me by the leg and pulled me to my watery grave.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice amber color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of citrus hops, floral, & some caramel malt; Flavor of sweet malt, caramel/toffee, pine hops, peach/mango, and citrus (notably orange); Finish is slightly bitter; The alcohol is fairly well hidden; Nicely balanced; Overall, pleasantly surprised - pretty decent.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a crystal clear beautiful deep golden color with a fluffy white head that disappears quickly. Smell is hoppy, spicy, citrus hops. There’s also a bit of malt in there caramel and a bit of molasses. Taste is very hoppy bitter citrus and pine resin. The malt is very faint in the taste. Medium to thick body, crisp carbonation, resinous bitter in the mouth. Another one for the hop heads. Smells really balanced, but taste is heavy to the hop side. Decent brew, reminds me a lot of harpoon IPA only bigger.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft. Served in a snifter. Pours a deep orange color with off-white head. Lasting retention, sheets of lacing. Aroma is heavy malt and big, heavy hops (floral, pine, citrus are all there). Flavor is equally with the hops and malt. Bitterness lingers slightly. The alcohol is masked extremely well. (or perhaps I drink so many big beers, I no longer notice) But to me it drinks like a normal IPA. Real quaffable DIPA.

From bottle to tulip. Nice dark amber color. Piney fruity aroma and very bitter malty fruity flavor. Not a fan of imperials but this is pretty good.
