Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, grapefruit, and lemon. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and grapefruit, leading to a dry, bitter, and grapefruity finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a small, off-white head. Fresh hop aroma - citrus and pine. Quite full-bodied with caramel and fruit and a distinct hoppy bitterness in the finish. 010209

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2011 From bottle, blindtasting #14. Pours cloudy orange, golden and with an almost fully gone head. Mild peachy and solid grapefruit and citrusy aroma. Smooth peachy and grapefruity flavoured with a light caramel malt base. Light yeasty touch and a slowly growing bitterness into the finish. Ends dry and fruity.8-3-7-3-15=3.6

From tap at Sunset Grill. Pours clear and golde orange with a small white head. Aroma is solid peachy and grapefruity citrusy. Bitter and crisp citrusy. Solid hoppy and citrusy. Dense malty and slight fruity bitter. Bone dry. Bitter and citrusy finish.8-3-8-4-16=3.9

Bottle at Monk’s Café, Wallingatan
Hazy copper to amber color; medium creamy head. Excellent hoppy aroma, perfumy and fruity (oranges, bitter oranges), a bit earthy and sweaty too, very light cheese touch. Good body strength and mouthfeel, round; strong caramel flavor, with the necessary residual sweetness; strong hopping, first oily, but resiny and fruity as well. Powerful and long final. No surprises (an Imperial IPA as we had many already), but very solid.

Clear golden with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with hoppy and malty notes. Flavour was quite hoppy with citric, piney and malty notes. Finished bitter.

Bright copper. Very C-hoppy with lime, papaya and orange. Lots of these hops, floral and fruity. Lots of malts, some background stickiness.

(Draught) Pours a clear golden copper body with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, orange, grapefruit, and some pine. Flavor of caramel, toasted malt, and hops (floral, citrus) with a bitter finish.

(12oz bottle, thanks SamGamgee) Medium off-white head atop crystal clear applpe juice body. Aroma is moderately sweet, cartty/pineapple, some bread/caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, carry, some grapefruit, caramel. Medium body, some chewiness.

12oz bottle-pours a tight foamy off white head with some lacing and gold color. Aroma is simcoe, sweet citrus-lemon/pine hops. Taste is simcoe, citrus-grapefruit rind/lemon/some pine, slight tart/harsh bitter, some light malt, alcohol. Soft carbonation. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for sharing this.
