COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A clean, crisp, light golden beer, brewed in the style of a German Pilsner. We use a blend of American malts and traditional hops to create this delicious beer.

A beer that isn’t produced anymore, but was actually quite enjoyable. Recently found an orphaned 6-pack at Kappy’s in Medford. Pale straw color with slight head. Crisp taste of malt on first tasting. Smooth aftertaste with only a hint of hoppiness. Wish Harpoon would re-release this so I could get a better batch to try.

A buddy of mine dropped one of these off for me and said he found it in his closet...and didnt know where it came from, or how long it had been there...Hehe. Clear pale gold. Crisp clean malt nose. Small white head. Sweet at first, quick, light bodied, clean dry lightly hopped finish. Nothing special, perhaps thats why it isnt produced anymore.

Once again Harpoon put out a beer that I can say I like. This is a beer that the unknowledgable beer drinker as well as the beer afficianado could drink together. A simple traditional pilsner with obvious flavor that sets it apart from the mass produced pilsners.

Bright yellow/gold. Nice and hoppy with high carbonation. I agree with Volgon, this is a good first craft brew to have your Bud friends try.

It’s OK for a pilsener. Would be good for introducing a Bud drinker to real beer

Amber color; crisp and Saazy. Good head, by the way. A solid American Pilsener.

Clear gold, bright white head and good lace to cling to the glass, nose is malt, crisp, clean, front is slightly sweet, top light, the finish is dry, acidic, and lightly hopped.

A nice bubbly head out of the bottle & throughout the pint, a bright golden color, not much of anything in particular in the aroma, very clean & crisp, refreshing, nice balance, very nice pilsener

Bottled. Appearance very clear, bubbly, light amber, fair quick-dying head, nice lacing. Aroma definitely on the weak side, but has some nice hops, sweet malt. Flavor a little more pronounced, but nothing special; decent maltiness, light grain flavor, little hops, with an extremely short finish that leaves no aftertaste. Body perhaps a little fuller than the average pils. Drinkable, but doesn’t do anything to convince me that Harpoon is better than middle-of-the-road.

Not the great, but not bad. Their are a lot of better pilsner’s out there.
