Apr 20, 2002 Bottled. Appearance very clear, bubbly, light amber, fair quick-dying head, nice lacing. Aroma definitely on the weak side, but has some nice hops, sweet malt. Flavor a little more pronounced, but nothing special; decent maltiness, light grain flavor, little hops, with an extremely short finish that leaves no aftertaste. Body perhaps a little fuller than the average pils. Drinkable, but doesn’t do anything to convince me that Harpoon is better than middle-of-the-road.

May 30, 2002 Clear gold, bright white head and good lace to cling to the glass, nose is malt, crisp, clean, front is slightly sweet, top light, the finish is dry, acidic, and lightly hopped.
