Bov (4623), Bienne, Switzerland Jun 15, 2000 interesting pilsner with a very good aroma muzzlehatch (4425), Burlington, Vermont, USA Apr 20, 2002 Bottled. Appearance very clear, bubbly, light amber, fair quick-dying head, nice lacing. Aroma definitely on the weak side, but has some nice hops, sweet malt. Flavor a little more pronounced, but nothing special; decent maltiness, light grain flavor, little hops, with an extremely short finish that leaves no aftertaste. Body perhaps a little fuller than the average pils. Drinkable, but doesn’t do anything to convince me that Harpoon is better than middle-of-the-road. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA Jun 19, 2002 Amber color; crisp and Saazy. Good head, by the way. A solid American Pilsener. Gusler (2656), Tucson, Arizona, USA May 30, 2002 Clear gold, bright white head and good lace to cling to the glass, nose is malt, crisp, clean, front is slightly sweet, top light, the finish is dry, acidic, and lightly hopped. Volgon (2458), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jul 14, 2002 It’s OK for a pilsener. Would be good for introducing a Bud drinker to real beer
