3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 8/19/2012. Pours a lightly cloudy golden straw color with a nice 1-2 finger fluffy white head with nice retention, that reduces to a good cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of pear, bread, lemon, cracker, herbal, grass, floral, light pepper, and earthy spiciness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance, but they are quite muted. Taste of lemon zest, pear, bread, cracker, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and earthy spiciness. Light spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pear, lemon, bread, herbal, grass, and pepper on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance of flavors, with a good malt/hop balance; a touch watered down; zero cloying flavors after the finish as expected. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a nice kolsch. Nice flavor balance and very smooth to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very pale gold, loose knit and tall white head,
Very light body, little flavor, good carbonation, little heat, not as lean as a lager.
Little bitterness and sweetness, but refreshing acidity, avg length, weak but not dilute finish.
Yeasty, hint of malt,
So weak it could substitute water in the summer.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Okay. Nothing really stands out on this guy. Maybe that means good balance and drinkable I think it is just laziness on the part of the brew master who took the summer off.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker glass.
Clear hay with a small white head.
Light clean malt nose, bread, faint grain and floral hops.
Soft light malt flavors, mellow fruitiness (apricot), low bitterness.
Light, refreshing, dry and quenching. Cool.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This Kolsch style beer has a brillant gold color about it. Pours with a nice size head but doesn,t linger very long.
Smells nice maybe of good German hops, malt bill is low with a dry clean finish.
Medium body and rounded flavor.
I like to drink these fast so they don’t warm up.
This is a good shore beer.
Drink well my friends

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear solar yellow with a thin pale buff head. Crisp aroma is mainly fruity, mainly pear, with a bit of malt. Crisp, refreshing flavor is more malty than fruity and has an underpinning of somewhat bitter hops. Texture has average viscosity and fizz, though the tingle does persist. This will definitely take the edge off a hot day!
