3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tampa, Fl - Total Wine & More - 12 oz bottle. Light golden pour, slight haze, bubbly thin white head. Pleasant light floral aroma with a hint of spruce. Flavor is pleasant with some grassy notes, a hint of light citrus bitterness, some light saffron-like spiciness and pear fruitiness. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Not overloaded with flavor, but pleasant.

Poured from growler into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a one finger of a foamy white head composed of big carbonation bubbles. The head fades over about a 2 min time period to leave a lighter level of bubbly lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is a nice mix of sweet fruit smells with a good showing of hop aromas. The sweeter fruit is mostly of a tropical fruit nature with tons of papaya, mango and tangerine along with some hints of pineapple. The hop aromas are heavies of pine and grapefruit with a hint of grass in the background. With a bit of a doughy aroma mixing with the rest, the brew has a very nice smelling nature.
Taste –The taste begins with a crisper and very lightly fruit sweetened bready taste. At the front of the flavor is a lighter grapefruit hop as well. The sweet that is present upfront is mostly of the tropical fruits that were in the nose, with these flavors growing weaker as the taste moves on to the end. At the same time the bready flavor, gets crisper in nature with it taking on a more cracker like flavor. The grapefruit hop remains throughout the taste, never getting too potent. It is joined by some pine and a moderately stronger earthy hop flavor more toward the middle to the end. With the drying out of the sweetness, the increase in hop, and the more cracker like flavor transition, one is left with a crisp and slightly drier medium strength IPA flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is average. While the thinner body isn’t great for the hop, it does accentuate the very crisp and dry tastes of the brew, so overall with the medium carbonation the feel is pretty good.
Overall – A crisp and drier IPA, that is on the more refreshing side. Overall a decent IPA.

surprised this scored so high with other people. I thought it was a little thin. Flavor isn’t balanced as well as it could be. I’d pass on this one.

A- Citrus, piney, orange, subtle spice.
A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Piney, bitter, citrus, spices, spruce.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, hoppy meaty finish.
O- Had it about a month after best by date so naturally it wasn’t optimal. Quite hoppy and good amounts of citrus with a little spice. The finish had a little bit of a meaty flavor but it wasn’t bad. I wanted to love this but only ended up liking it. All in all, a decent beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: Pours a cloudy pastel yellow with a dense sudsy head that falls to a 1/4 cap.
Aroma: Banana, floral hops, spiced cookie.
Taste: Wheat ale qualities: sour dough, banana. Modest but noticeable hop spice. All and all not very bitter at all. Finishes earthy.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, lively carbonation.
Overall: Pretty drinkable, more like a wheat beer than an IPA. Very balanced and a great candidate for a gateway beer or a beer to pair with food.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from Meditrina. Hazy pale orange with lasting white head and lace. Beautiful citrus pastry and mild spicy aroma. Very dry almost flavorless/non-existent pineapple herbal sweetness with medium herbal bitterness. Light refreshing body. Much more IPA than White. Very good, but not as good as some other in the White IPA style. Missing the wheaty tang.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly hazy golden with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled pale buff head. Pomme fruity mainly pear, dominates the aroma but let’s through malty and evergreen hop notes. Hops however, are the strongest note in the palate, and take the stage with pear, Mandarin orange, and malty tones. Strong tingle in the mouthfeel helps you feel it all the way down. A spring beer, but great for summer too.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a snifter because at the time I thought this was a Belgian IPA. I see its an IPA here, so uh... well here goes.
The appearance had a nice hazy golden yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light foamy lacing sticking adequately to the sides of the glass.
The smell had a fairly nice spice to it, at the time, I thought it was a somewhat Belgian spiciness of sorts. Some light piney hops entered in after a bit of warming.
The taste was somewhat bitter and piney with a fairly nice spice added to the flavor.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was slightly harsh but not overly done.
Overall, Belgian IPA or just AIPA, no worries to me, I’d have it again if I could get it again.
