Commercial Description:
Brewed by Fred Hamp. Primary Fermentation with Belgian Golden Ale yeast. Malt bill comprised 80% Belgian pilsner malt, 5 % Bonlander Munich malt, and 15 % light Belgian candy sugar. Lightly hopped with Tettnang hops. Fermented dry then filtered bright. Secondary fermentation carried out with Abbey Ale yeast and fresh wort in keg. Golden in color, presenting a dense foam. Rich in aromas of crisp fruit, spicy phenols, clean malt, complementary alcohol. Creamy mouthfeel with a complex flavor.

Belgian Beer Best 2006. Pours a hazy golden color with a good-sized white head, typical of the tripel style. The aroma is fruity, yeasty, with a slight note of malt. Taste is typical tripel, if a tad watery. Not bad, but not great either.

BA BBF 06. lightly hazy golden in color. big white head. Aroma is slightly tart fruits light in color, apples, etc, spicy yeast. Taste is the same with a clean finish and mild alcohol warm. Pretty decent tripel overall.
