COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When we first started thinking of a UFO summer seasonal, we knew we had our work cut out for us. We loaded up the vans for the beach and spent days “researching” every combination of fresh fruit juice and beer we could think of until we discovered a combination that made our decision easy.

Made with grapefruit juice.

Poured a hazy orange color, almost like orange juice. Almost no head. Aroma has lots of berries with fruits and orange. Slightly tart and skunky. Taste is like slightly old orange juice. Almost like a mimosa. Would be really good on the beach, but this barely tastes like a beer. I would rather have some sort of cider or mixed drink if I wanted something this fruity.

Pours a cloudy orange color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of grapefruit juice, citrus zest, and wheat. Taste is much the same. Lots of citrus fruit and grapefruit. Not bad

Pours very cloudy amber with virtually no head. Aroma is orange juice, lemonade and fruit punch. Tastes like Hawaiian punch with an Orangina kicker.

Big boy at Applebee’s. Pours a yellow infused orange. Taste is sweet fruit, low carbonation, a bit too sweet. Packs a nice grapefruit, artificial at times, punch to the younger. Dumb it down a bit and you’ll get a wine cooler. But it is the summer, so you can have at least one.

Pour looks like pink grapefruit juice with a whit head that quickly. Aroma is grapefruit juice. Taste is very sweet. Like a mimosa made with too much juice. It’s drinkable.

Bottle. Pours mango orange white head. Nose/taste of grapefruit juice, lime rind, champagne, wheat and earthy grapefruit pith - lighter medium body.

Peachy pour. Nose of grapefruit and peach. I may not of known this was an alcoholic beverage if I didn’t pour from bottle. Tastes like grapefruit juice, peach, champagne, lime. I don’t know this is sparkling unfresh fruit juice. Definitely something I would have wanted at my kindergarten graduation party

Orange juice and bready yeast smell. Cloudy amber, chunks, headless. Grapefruit juice and cheap beer, overchewed chewing gum. Cardboard present. Medium body, fizzy. Ugh, this is a mess.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. -Aroma: grapefruit (obviously) orange juice and citrus -Appearance: Milky orange with a thin white head. -Taste: Very sweet, more like somebody poured a little beer into orange juice than the other way around. More orange than grapefruit. -Palate: light, crisp, refreshing, very abrupt vinish -Overall: I don’t really like shandy’s and this doesn’t change my mind about the catagory.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed orange with a thin white head. Big sweet citrus on the nose, grapefruit pith. Medium bodied, sweet grapefruit and a touch of citrus oil. Reminds me a lot of having half a grapefruit with sugar on top for breakfast. Tangy and bright with a lot of grapefruit pith and some citrus oil. Slow bitterness on the finish, more grapefruit. Somewhat grapefruit soda like, but with a bit less sweetness. Seems like a fine summer beer by the pool.
